Used the power of the ask today! Went to a sale today and found a loose donkey Kong gameboy cartridge and scored a Gameboy bundle for $20 that had Pokémon red loose!
Offered $25 for a N64… what the heck… man lol I like how it states his deals are fair… the N64 goes for $100+ so if you would have offered $50-60 that’s considered fair 😂 not $25

So when it comes to flipping, it’s a bartering system. He can aim low (low ball) and it’s up to the seller to negotiate a price. If they’re ignorant, that’s the sellers issue.
There are plenty of these types of channels who’ll meet people who know what’s what and a price gets worked.
Its always gross watching flippers complain about prices. You make the guy seem unreasonable for asking $85 on the gameboy when that's what they hover around on ebay buy it nows. Considering he was willing to let you nickle and dime him on the N64, he was willing to negotiate on the gameboy. Its not his job to maximize your profits. The exaggerated sigh after he told you on the price and then the subsequent conversation at the car may not have been your intention to insult the man, but that's the way it comes off.

Soooo true about people and their pokemon cards. At garage sales folks think they have absolute gold when really it's just a $5-$15 card.
I'm behind you 100% when it comes to the Power of the Ask. I buy and sell records and have gotten some great finds by asking. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The power of the ask works differently here in Australia, as so many people are educated on values here that you have a harder time getting those scores here
Check out swappers day, not for the actual swap meet itself but for the 100s of garage sales that coincide in the city starting friday the weekend of

I was out at some garage sale today and a lady I met had 1 wii game for sale that was her daughters and I decided to ask because of your videos and she brought out a Gameboy pocket and 3 games and gave them to me for free because she didn't think anyone would be interested

You could always ask for video game merchandise because there's a lot more merchandise out there than games And it normally sells really well I know because I buy a lot too much😂

I hate when some resellers think they can pull a fast one. Some guy tried to make me sell N64 CIB and Pokémon sapphire and ruby for $100. I told his no and he tried ti say that all my stuff is not worth even worth $175. He shut up really quick I show him eBay sold.

How do you find so many garage sales at once? I've been curious about this for awhile now. I usually only find them from signs posted in neighborhoods lol
Neighborhood and city wide sales. I travel far and wide to target those ones where there are 100 or more sales in a small area

LOL I send messages about Pokemon card's people have listed online thinking they're worth 100's or a few thousand then I offer $100 for everything and they think im trying to rip them off. Sorry but 95% of Pokemon card's are only worth $1-$10
Depends what cards they have though bulk like commons from modern sets is worthless but some cards are worth thousands in good condition like base set shadowless charizard shining charizard from neo destiny the infamous illustrator card that is worth millions
@@TheThirdEnergy Yes I know, but people have a 1st edition base set common card like Nidoran and think it worth $500 when in reality a PSA 10 is only $40. The cards worth millions most are graded and odds of finding them at a yard sale is less then 0.1%.
