+Tyler Valentine (slayer-man777) I heard that he's making a comeback, from what i've heard he's in the process of finding band members. Found out from this guy on a deathcore group i'm in on Facebook that posted a screenshot of him talking to a guy who has a friend that lives in Australia who knows Brendan.
aFlyingOreo btw if you like Brendans highs, check out beyond deviation - white noise. about 36 secs into the song.. legit the sickest thing I've ever heard. Sadly the vocaliat left the band (ofc)
+aFlyingOreo I KNOW RIGHT! Emperor magus caligula from dark funeral too.. at least i have Peter from hypocrisy in my life .-. swe power yay... damn i really miss the old TAIM.. Cj is good and all that but.. their death metal way is not as good as the old bands ways.
I thought Brendan was one of the best vocalists ive ever heard. Cj is a solid vocalist but the change was definitely not for the best. Still listen to Infinite Death all the time compared to a few songs of there new stuff. Lee is such a sick drummer and they still cant write a tasty riff
It was definitely for the best, cj is a pretty unique vocalist, and technique wise he beat this guy by miles. This guy was kicked out cause he could barely make it through a full set, sometimes he didn’t even manage that. He would’ve cut his own career short with how bad his technique is.
CJ has a very distinct sound but he gets boring to listen to real fast. All he uses these days are mids. Also I’d say the change was for the best, given that the technique Brendan was using wasn’t gonna get him anywhere. He would’ve been a laughingstock in the scene if he hadn’t been kicked out before his voice got completely fucked.
@@aramaru1837 this is a good point, cj while s tier as a vocalist is kind of a one trick pony. However he has more charisma and better stage presence than Brendan ever did. I do think the change is for the best, cause think of how many vocalists became a laughing stock because of how bad their technique was. Mitch lucker, Chris barnes, Alex koehler.
It's been too long. I'll always remember I old band mates Sean Delander, Josh King, Gary Markowski, And Lee Stanton. Every time I watch this. It just haunts me, all because of my negative attitude problem, My Cocain Addiction, And my hatred for women. I heard Chris is now back in Thy Art. If you ever meet Sean and Lee backstage. Tell them I hope they are happy with out me. I'm officially out of jail, and hoping for society to give me another chance.
It’s honesty kind of interesting because they seem to have a trend of incorportating their intro bits into later songs. For example, in an older performance of “parasitic autopsy”, the intro they use is the beginning of “wh0r3 to a chainsaw” and in an even earlier performance their intro uses a breakdown from “parasitic autopsy”
you can't really shit on the first EP, i mean they were kids and just wanted to write something super heavy. The lyrics were pretty stupid and cliche, but its still fun as shit to listen to
Metalfan23 www.reddit.com/r/Deathcore/comments/394jqb/what_happened_to_brendan_van_ryn_thy_art_is/?st=JRNZ0BEF&sh=c00e2a61 Brendan Van Ryn is for the most part a mystery as he just did the EP and disappeared. I hope this clears some stuff up for now as it has been the most in depth thing I’ve found.
I remember seeing this guys at punk nd grind fest in newcastle like 10 plus years ago i was like 15 they held up the whole show sound checking....but it was worth it legit one of the bands that got me into super heavy stuff cart wheels and wheel burrows in the pit so tight.
Fua-300 Him and the band parted ways for having musical differences. No one knows wtf he's doing now, it's sad his vocals can't be heard past Thy Art's best album.
thy art is awesum-but for sum reason i keep thinking that this song sounds a bit like Unanswered by Suicide Silence, with the intro and how both songs have got something to do with God.guess that Behemoth shirt came in good use. oh well hope they find another singer.
Long story short, the old vocalist had an attitude problem, got addicted to drugs, the drugs affected his live performances, he got kicked out and recovered from addiction and is now in university I believe and may be starting a new band. Hope this helps.
@FalseSenseOfDeity I know he stopped being involved with music, when he left the band. There were even some rumors going around of him being arrested, and doing serious time, for disclosed legal offences. So in a brief sentence, he quit music and is no longer around in the scene.
how the fuck can it be a song from the adversary when brendan's still on vox? there's a few songs that never made recording because i'm fairly sure this is from the infinite destruction tour they did.
the new guy is very similar to Brendan but its like he stole Brendans vocals but in the stealing process they just got weaker. Its a good description if u understand it. Brendans highs were more extreme and his lows deeper, though not by much there
Did Brendan inhale or exhale his vocals? To me it sounds like his lows are inhales, and his yells are exhales, or am I wrong? I guess his vocals wouldn't have lasted long if he continued in TAIM instead of CJ tbh.
no matter whatm never delete this
Second that
Hes got those psychopath highs...soo good
and lows too
I was 6 years old at the time of this video, I’d give everything to go back and actually see this live
ThisGuysMason lmfao me too I was like 7 I missed out
You make me feel old
I was 2 years old at the time.
their first EP was the best one definately.
I hope this video is on the internet forever. I love it so much
It's crazy how he just kind of disappeared after he got kicked out. I wonder what he's up to these days.
TheCalling15 rape, murder and eating bagels and shit
I've seen some evidence floating around that he now works in investing, there's a linkedin profile of his floating around, potentially his anyway.
Brendan, please start a band! I don't care It's only a SoundCloud band, I'll take it!!
Hellaya
it really pisses me off how he has almost done nothing with those insane vocals
Yeah for real, what a waste.
I've loved every iteration of TAIM vocals, but this guy is just pure nostalgia
Miss this vocalist!
+TheFUSEspecialized Won't be back anytime soon.

This guy has the chance to come back now...
+Diego Betancourt They kicked him out for hatred to the world and hatred for women + drug addiction
+DemonOfTheWood then makes a album called hate ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+DemonOfTheWood Seeing the lyrical content of Holy War that seems a but hypocritical now doesn't it? lol

Brendan Van Ryn this is a fake, we're not fucking stupid. if it's real post evidence and I'll cum tomato juice
Shut the fuck up. If you were a smart ass, you would of known where this was.
its in my goldfish anus
Brendan Van Ryn aye if you’re the real deal just know your music gets me through my work day bro. Glad you overcame your shit like a real one
I’m your #1 fan! Make a band and I’ll follow!!!!
Fuck, I'd have loved to have seen them play while Brendan was still doing the vocals.
reminds me of elysia. dirty and raw. miss them.
I've never even noticed but he sounds exactly like the guy from Elysia 😂
@@tcorectroll2120 are we talking about Elysia - Lion Of Judas?
Gary Markowski is so underappreciated
this band is nothing without the old singers highs..those were something else...
Brendan's a fuckin maniac, I love it haha
If only this band were still worth listening to
brendan van ryn i still wondering what are u doing on these days ,a big fan from argentina , best highs i ever heard
the energy is incredible
I could listen to the intro breakdown a million times
if you ever see this, they use that same breakdown in the song "furnace of hate"

@@brandonmays6236 do you know why

@@metalfan2346 why
Brendan needs to get a new band. He is too talented not to
*Music starts*
*Everyone jumps up and down*
Did you know there's a girl in there?! I JUST NOTICED IT XD. Brendan probably never saw her on the side of the stage.
audio is PERFECT. VOX ARE PERFECT. MUSIC IS PERFECT. its a shame this had to be broken up, must be heartbraking for these dudes.
0:39 Dat scream.
SOOOOO GOOD.
Cj is good but Brendan was better ! his high was so crap and dirty but so beautiful
Taim say he got kicked out because of an attitude problem i don't know how to interpret that
They needa go on tour with him and play the whole ep
and the demo
they were still amazing live back then
This is history
ahhaha!!!! ive watched this video a hundred times and just realized the bassist had no sound!!!!
really good on stage! impressive!

The old set was the best
New tunes ain't representing TAIM as not the same as the old dayz
This is all you'll ever hear from me.
lol. wonder if this is actually you
lol brendan's highs were so silly but i love his vocals to death
i love these guys. seeing them again in nov. cant wait

brendan will always be the best vocalist..
he needs to make a new band anything he releases will be better then holy war

these guys are so good
Been scouring all of their albums to find that song they played before I'll Show You God and no luck finding it. Any help would be appreciated
I know this is over 4 years old, so fuck knows if you still use this account, but I think it's just an intro isn't it? Not an actual song
its part of the first breakdown in Furnace of Hate off their first album
About singer changing, it reminds me of Salt The Wounds because most of their fans didn't like new singer.
