What happened in 8th Edition was that the Custodes finally got their full army release, along with the first bits of new lore in decades. But everyone was disappointed by the fact they weren't naked
Fun fact: those Beasts copies are often referred to as "Prime Orks." They were the founders of the 6 Ork Clans: the Goffs, Evil Suns, Bad Moons, Blood Axes, Snakebites, and Deathskulls. They are often compared to the Primarchs with their own legions. Prime Orks=Primarchs. I'm not sure if GW just got lazy on writing the lore for where the Ork Clans came from; or, the Beasts were the result of the Great Crusade and the Orks used the conflict to accumulate Waagh! energy to become supersized and copied the Space Marine Legions they were fighting against.
27:40 Lockwarden is referring to the fact that Shadowsun dumped Kitten 39:45 Magnus’ forces had no warning, and were massively outnumbered and Leman’s forces still took massive losses, also Magnus ripped out one of Leman’s heart
Leman also needed an assist from his wolves to beat Magnus personally The so-called Executioner actually has a pretty bad win/loss ratio against his brothers 1v1
48:58 they talking about an actual Battle Moons. The Waaagh was so big, that they weaponised an entire planetoinds, which could warp-travel, disrupt natural grabity and magnetic fields of the planets upon arrival and has features like "the entire army storming us, so we just shift this mountain range and squish them in an instant"
Bruva has confirmed that a children's card game match between Yami Skittles and Void Dragon was supposed to happen. But it never came to be cuz Games Laws- I mean Workshop changed their policy related to fan made content basically killing the tts...
Megarachnids are so bad, when the Legions first encountered them, they named the planet they were confined on Murder. While it doesn't involve Choas, there's more assassin temples than the ones Bricky mentioned. Which is just as well in the case of the Maerorus temple, because we do not talk about the Maerorus temple. Simple Green might be a reference to a paint stripping brand to my knowledge. Kind of a thing that's in demand with a second-hand market as large as Warhammer's.
Curze let the assassin kill him. He was super depresso expresso as Bricky put it. He could see the future so he saw the assassin coming, but he had no intention to defend himself. Dude was a bad guy tortured by visions of the future and he needed super therapy he never got. For a good book about assassins, read Assassinorum Kingmaker. There's a Callidus (shapeshifter), a Vanus (hacker/tech-spy) and a Vindicare (Sniper). It's by Robert Rath, same author as Infinite and the Divine. Incidentally also the best book on Imperial Knight. It's great.
If I remember, the main reason was that Curze saw a future, but took it as granted, something he cannot change. He saw himself being killed by the assassin in a vision, and so when assassin really came, he let himself be killed. He was that edgy, he wanted to prove everyone and mainly himself, that future cannot be changed. Because if future can be changed, that would mean he let everything bad he saw happen, when he had a power to change it for the better. Which, in his twisted mind and with his sense of "justice", would make him a criminal and every criminal should be punished by death.
Regarding Soul Fusion, Belisarius Cawl calls it "Soul Blending" and has done it DOZENS of times. The only reason he still has a proper personality is both a combination of will and that his personality is now more a programmed preset than anything organic.
In terms of Primarchs being killed by non-Primarchs, there have been several occasions when it 'almost' happened (as in, is heavily implied that only emergency medical attention/plot armour saved them). Such as when Guilliman lost in single combat with Kor Phaeron of the Word Bearers and almost had his throat cut. Or when Fulgrim got shot in the head during an overly dramatic speech by Nykona Sharrowkyn of the Raven Guard, and had to be saved by Fabius Bile. Or when Guilliman was overpowered by a squad of Alpha Legionnaires and almost had his throat cut. Damnit Guilliman.
The weapon moons were not space hulks as far as i know (There was more then one, the orks somehow built the damn things and mastered gravity manipulation to move them). Basically the war of the beast (while having many silly things that makes no sense) sorta works like sneak peak into what the Orks used to be (the Krork) before they were culled over and over again by the eldar and implies that if a Waaghh became large enough (like silly large) they might eventually turn into their former superior Krork's selves once again (Think Orks, but way larger then normal, with way more technologically advanced weapons and equipment)...
Ork Attack Moons aren't Space Hulks (a bunch of ships fused together in the Warp), but are more like a Rok (an asteroid hollowed out and turned into a warship). You have seen a Rok in Space Marine 1, actually. An Attack *Moon* as it name implies is a hollowed-out moon turned mobile fortress. It got FTL technology that doesn't need to travel through the Warp (something not even Golden Age human had), and enough weapons to fight off an entire battlefleet on it own. There were multiple of them.
You missed out on the Special between Kitten and Tzeentch playing a Children's Card Game. It might answer some questions regarding Kitten's Silver Coating. Edit: Unless I missed out on THAT in my memory.

Damn you GW! Now I can't flex my Yu-Gi-Oh knowledge anymore...
The chickens say Kauravan Fried Chicken
Kaurava being the system where Dawn Of War Soulstorm takes place.
Boreale is the force commander in the first DoW, Apollo Diomedes is 1st captain of the Blood Ravens/force commander in DoW2 Retribution

And now the last podcast episode... buckle up Xero it is truly something else.

"HERE COMES OR BOI!". I love our Certified Gigachad "Brother Santhodes"
the accent was meant to be english, but people thought it was more australian
so Alfabusa made a bit out of it
As for the question if void dragon is in TTS lore. Sadly enough the void dragon was introduced around the end of TTS if not after it
Sadge
yeah, the short at the start here was poking fun at the fact that Zegram's "english" accent sounds aussie
*Checks page 19 of Deathworld*
Well I'll be damned...

19:58 If I recall correctly, at the time of this episode, jetbikes were the meta for Custodes forces.

4:46 Pretty sure that's a Kremling sound from Donkey Kong Country. They're basically gator and/or croc people.

Uh no. Modern day orks use space hulks. The orks during the War of the Beast used actual moon-sized battlestations.
He was speaking of why shadow san would leave him wen his body was revealed
Regicide is essentially Chess on the off chance you didn't know.
Ngl, I did not make that connection, but now that you mentioned it, it's literally Chess lol

Oh wait! I didn't even realize that in SM1. Gotta go back and look at the VOD.
Or Bigboss Crabeater, or Ghargaz Deaff Deala, or Wierdboy Whacko Gargantstompa, or Big Meck Brainburzta
28:48 How DARE you say that about mini Magnus
I cannot wait for the next episode.

Edit: Unless I missed out on THAT in my memory.
Tzeentch seems to have paid you a visit, as the card game was over a month ago around the time he did Mandalore's Pathologic reviews
@@rokkraljkolesa9317 Ahh, alright, yeah fair enough.
oh god, we are getting close to the end.
All good things come to an end eventually... 😭
@@TheLegitWeebs on the bright side, once tts ends you have hunter the parenting to look forward too
