You're totally right, that selfsame fabric belt on the oatmeal jumpsuit cheapens it. Love it with the tan accessories.

Tulips are my absolute favourite spring flower. As my birthday is in April I am always fortunate enough to be bought a beautiful bunch of them. 💐
Sand & Fog really do make the best candles, and you can really smell their fragrance, unlike some expensive brands.... and one named Gardinia, how could you not? 🐎 😉

Lovely vlog as always. Fun new makeup to consider, spring spruce up and I can completely relate to feeling pressure to rush through shopping when my husband is with me. Alex, my husband & I chuckled when you said you hated shopping with Andy and feel rushed etc. I'm old enough to be your Mum. I have two strategies. First go to a store on my own and figure out what I would like. Second is for hubby to drop me off for 10-20 minutes to browse while he goes elsewhere. Today was a little different as I could not decide on a stain for our picnic table. HE HAD to CHOOSE when he met up with me!!!!!! Hugs to puppies and hope you might be watching Crufts?
Hi Alex, what a lovely vlog again bringing so badly needed fresh spring impressions into the house. I'm trying the same here at home at present, too. Found a nice antique crystal vase and I put some cherry blossom and almond sprigs into it spreading some spring in the drawing-room as well. There's been so much rain in Ireland for the last fortnight. According to that, as soon as I saw this beautiful gorgeous warm and cosy "Waterproof Country Coat" in Khaki by "Holland & Cooper" I did know that I'd have ultimately found the "one and only" perfect coat for me regarding walks being out and about in the countryside I've been looking for for a long time indeed so I immediately ordered it. Can't wait to get my hands on this coat! What a dear "goodie bag" for Leonora you chose as well, not forgetting her "Furry Friends", too. My so cute little "UCC" = "Upper Cuddle Cheek" Bolly looked a bit disappointed because these bunnies and chicks were uneatable for him so no "doggie biscuits" for him and Desy both had hoped for. May be, a bite ( or two? ) for them will coincidently fall off the table when you're cooking supper later. You said absolutely nothing wrong! There is nothing wrong with doing things without your partner... especially activities they don’t particularly enjoy! Sometimes I’d much rather shop without my girlfriends too. I love the time we spend together but sometimes I want to shop at my own pace and worry my pace might be too slow or too fast for them or that I’m dragging them to stores where they have zero interest. “Serious shopping” I prefer to do on my own! If I’m just out for a good look-see and a catch up, I’m thrilled to be with friends and perhaps stumble upon something “I just can’t live without”. But when looking for specific things I feel like I often do better on my own.
I love a bit of seasonal decor! I don’t go crazy (with the exception of Christmas) but I think it’s nice to have a nod to the new season or a holiday with a touch of something seasonal or thematic. I think your bunnies and chickens will not only look cute here and there about your home but are also a great size to incorporate into a tablescape for Spring entertaining, as well as for Easter dinner!
What a great find on all of your bud vases! Those will be so useful to add some joy around your home with a few stems of beautiful fresh flowers, as well as fit into so many tablescape designs! They will be such an asset to your home decor! I have a cabinet full of various bud vases, candlesticks and votive/tea light candle holders for adding a bit of life or creating a particular mood to any room! They are my workhorses in a lot of my vignettes and special occasion decor! Well done! I think you will absolutely love them! 😍🥰😍

Have you ever had a color analysis done? Looking at you in the oatmeal jumpsuit I wonder what season are you.. based on a low contrast between your skin, eye and hair color, I would guess colder tones probably suit you better than warmer ones ? And I must admit I probably like you better in colder colors ( or colder toned neutrals)
I have and I am autumn so quite the opposite of cool tones. Warm earthy tones suit me best, but also cream, navy blue and black can work as I have medium neutral undertones in my skin ☺️

Yes love Doddington although I will admit I wasn’t impressed with the Christmas decorations in the hall! I’d rather have a trip to Belvoir castle for that sort of thing 💕

Oh what a lovely vlog to unwind this Sunday evening 🤍 is the grey jumper the H&M mohair one? I’m not wearing it that often because I don’t know how to wash it and am too afraid to test it haha. I think you mentioned that you put it into the washing machine? What program/ temperature / spin speed do you use for it?
Don’t put in the washing machine if you want it to last! Wash by hand, warm water (not hot or it will shrink!) be gentle, don’t pull or stretch it. As it’s wool you don’t need to wash it often, spot clean when possible instead. To keep it soft, add a touch of hair conditioner when hand washing 🫶🏻

Question for women, i am a straight male who wants to dress more feminine, nothing hyper feminine like dresses and skirts, something like oversized womens clothes, mostly tshirts hoodies and sweatshirts, if i was to wear that on daily basis, would you find me less attractive or be uncomfortable around me?
I love your videos, your style, your makeup. I just think you would have more followers if you made shorter videos. You could make 3 out of this one and personally I don’t have the time to watch 45 Minute videos. Maybe others feel the same way.
I make videos of all different lengths - it’s not planned though it just depends how much content I have. My fashion videos are usually just 20 mins or so. When I watch longer videos I tend to pause them and finish them another time ☺️
