I have an SRK in SK5, I love it! But a better Cold Steel knife in my opinion is the Recon Tanto! You should get one.😊 By the way, you made a great video. Lots of information
I think the change in the top swedge was to compensate for the thinner section of the hollow grind behind the tip, and aid in batoning, as you mentioned.
Hello. Thanks for the video. I've noticed some differences in the most recent Recon Tanto (there´s a video in my channel). Last ones, seem lighter and more heavy headed, even with the same logo, than others from 3 years ago. I guess maybe dued to a thinner tang. Have you noticed some like that? Thanks.
@vladimirkovacevic1656, I've seen the same thing between two sk5 recon tanto separated by a few years, both from GSM ooutdoors time. Different boxes, different weights and balance.
@@vladimirkovacevic1656 have you noticed different balance? I found last one more heavy-headed. I think it's maybe due to a thinner tang. I show in the vid the center of mass and it seem to be a little bit more towards the tip in the lighter one. Thanks in advance.

@Shanghai_Knife_Dude Oh ok, cool!
Very well done video. Good History, information and entertainment all in one. I love cold steel. The old cold steel anyway 😂😂😂
