      @@onetwo4932 You don’t always need contracts, typically if it’s a larger airport you need 10mil in general liability to work there but the smaller ones aren’t too picky, you would have to market to and deal with the owners directly. Be very cautious around planes, if I were you I’d call a local flight school and explain you are interested in detailing planes and ask them to do a walk around of a plane with you. They typically bill $100/hour for instructor time (don’t need more than an hour) and they can point out the sensitive areas that are easy to mess up like static ports and control surfaces. If you are interested in taking it seriously check out shiny jets out in California Brett is incredibly talented and offers and online course with all the info you could need.

    Hey Luke what a great and timely video for me. I have a client that has allowed me to detail and ceramic coat their high end cars and now I have the job to detail and ceramic coat their 100k boat this week. Hard work pays off and I thank you for all of the information and knowledge you provide in your videos. Keep it up!

    The Falcon 50 *never* sold for anywhere near 23mm when new and has been out of production since 2007. Luke, if you were told that is what the airplane is worth, sorry dude-most 50's are less than 10% of the value you state.

    How do you calculate the estimate before hand? When they ask how much will be? Or is this the type of thing where they don't care and just pay whatever price at the end?

    • @theshawnkelly
      @theshawnkelly Год назад

      You typically base the price off of the size and type of the jet or plane. There’s 2-4 seater piston planes that might be around $150-300 depending on the area all the way up to a large/heavy jet that could easily be upwards of $1000-1500 just for the interior detail. The exterior would require extra equipment for most larger jets such as a ladder or scissor lift and they aren’t typically cleaned as often either. It’s best to start off with the interior and work up from there.
