Looking from other side of Atlantic ocean, you got the substance to put things in perspective with this excellent analysis from.a first source. Anyone with a brain should see the implications of the mechanics of Trump's cult, but there is a problem. Those infected with the virus of the autocrat cult are kept out of reach of reality. I listen to this interview it is mine battling about President Donald Trump, I come from Red State Republicans in Wyoming...I'm 64 years old, now I do have doubts about the election. Do I really want to vote for president Trump? All the funds president Trump received from his followers, it all went to fight his battle in quarts, when I lost my house for tragic fire accident, I never received any help from the public. When I lost my job as a contractor, I did not get any help, I lost my equipments & my vehicles, on top of that my savings account, I nearly became homeless for a man never violated the law. We do have little over a month for the election, and now I have to think about my conscience who I will vote for. I love my America and I wish the best for our 🇱🇷citizens. Thank you for this interview u truly opened up my eyes for the honesty & the truth.

I’m born and raised Wyoming too. I don’t see the Trump support here as much anymore. I voted McCain and Romney, but sat out 2016 because I couldn’t understand the appeal of Trump. I’ve worked in oil and gas for 17 years, and I understand that my vote for Biden in 2020 and Harris this year doesn’t help my industry, but it’s more important than that to me.

The first 1-2 years of an administration the new administration is starting, pivoting, and it takes A WHILE. It is magical thinking, to believe that it happens overnight. That means, that the first 1-2 years still have a profound impact from the previous administration. For example…Trump’s first 2 years were hugely impacted by residual from the Obama administration, in varying degrees, as new policies are instituted (which have to go through appropriate processes…again, do not happen overnight). Trump did throw out Obama’s pandemic plan (which had been put in place after the H1N1 pandemic) prior to COVID, and that turned out to be a horrible disaster, epic mistake. He had no replacement plan. Harris/Biden’s first 1-2 years were hugely spent cleaning up the pandemic and economic messes…and then you started to see some of their influence, later on. Truly, you really see an administration’s impact, with their fingerprints, if they are in 2 consecutive terms. By that second term, the administration is more fully reflective of that president and who works with him. Guess you missed all that complexity…and attempted to oversimplify it? You can’t take out most of the equation, just because it’s too hard for you. It changes the answer…and you end up off base and believing things blindly your echo chamber spoon feeds you. What was that you said, about being utterly unintelligent? Maybe stop using that, if it’s going to boomerang back to you…
The Commander in Chief openly involved in a dereliction of duty! I expected that from him, but that such a large portion of the population would embrace such despicable behavior, was a shock!

What candidate isn’t flawed? She was targeted by Republicans for years. They just kept throwing mud at her and everytime a lil bit stuck. Trey Gowdy had hearing after hearing until people started thinking there must be something to it. She’s not as flawed as Republicans made her out to be. Everything she warned us about regarding Trump and the SCOTUS became true. She got a raw deal IMO and yes it’s due to stupidity.
The democratic party was and still is very undemocratic when it comes to the primaries. The candidate is almost always selected by party insiders. Not by democrat voters in general. Our caucuses and primaries are a rather closed system for a party that claims to so vehemently believe in democracy. "The voters decide," they screech while primaries and caucuses are often difficult to attend and even more difficult to get a vote in. Participation should be the ultimate goal but it really isn't in the interest of those in office. So they fight against democracy in those moments. Democracy can"t only apply after the filters are applied and ridiculously controlled by only a few. That's how Hillary became the candidate. It's how Biden became the candidate. No one will change the process that worked for them. No matter how damaging it is to the "free and fair" claims they only apply during the general election.

11:28 when I was a culinary school student in New York in 2005, I went to an interview for a position at the Trump Tower grill on the lower level. The first thing the chef said to me when we sat down was “you probably saw the plaque on the outside of the building, saying we are the finest restaurant in the world. Obviously we’re not, but we do pretty good food.” lol. I never had any intention of taking the job because I always viewed Trump Tower and Trump himself as cringe and cheesy, no ambitious chef would want to work there. I just wanted the experience of the interview and right off the bat that chef confirmed my suspicions. It’s all a show.
I find it fascinating that Trump has been successful in sustaining a career in which Truth is irrelevant and actions have no consequence. What is more amazing are those that view this as an attribute.

I don't believe that he's only running for that, but just as Julius Caesar's potential prosecutions pushed him to cross the Rubicon, Trump's legal troubles provided him with the motivation to go for something he truly values -- becoming once again the most talked-about, noticed man in the world. When you have a media that doesn't want to discuss the deletion of 30,000 emails by Hilary Clinton and that ran the fake Russia collusion story ever since he won the election, how can they be trusted? The contents of the 30,000 emails that Hilary deleted and the relationship between Democrats and Epstein and other unsavory people tell us a lot about the Democrats and a complicit media. Donald Trump is NOT richer, whiter, more powerful, or more connected than Bill Gates and the other members of the Billionaire Club. When war criminal, Dick Cheney, endorses Kamala Harris, and Wall Street gave money to the Clintons, and Democrat presidents and politicians become millionaires from politics, while Trump did NOT take the $450,000 wage as President, it explains why people trust him more. While Trump visits people, the Democrats organise parties with celebrities and avoid talking to people or the press. The Democrats made sure that Epstein was released after being arrested in 2010 for sex crimes, but Trump put money into investigating the Island, which resulted in his arrest. Of course, the Democrats didn't like that and they have consistently refused to reveal details of the clients, until very recently. Why hasn't FBI or any of the police agencies raid the house of Epstein's friends and clients? Trump was celebrated throughout his life as a celebrity and he is featured in many Hollywood movies and regularly appeared on many television shows, including SNL and was treated like a king, but the moment he became President and decided to express his views without conforming to the status quo, which is what Henry Kissinger predicted would happen, and he decided to make real change by removing over 300 personnel, he made lots of enemies. He exposed the fake news and he didn't wage new wars and in contrast under Biden we are on the verge of WW3. There is a reason why R F Kennedy has switched from Democrats to supporting Trump and there is a reason why two assassination attempts have been made on Trump's life. No such risk of something like that happening to fake Kamala Harris who mocks the black community by changing her accent and pretending to be black, when previously she was Indian. I heard a story on YT told by a friend of a contractor who DT stiffed out of 4-5 million. Eventually DT said he would give the guy one million. I think a lot of people in the media miss why trump won in 2016. It was that he positioned himself as the political outsider. It’s that simple. I don’t buy the story that he was going to get people the same riches that he got for himself. It was simply that he wasn’t going to play along with the bureaucracy.
That and the fact that he was running against one of the worst candidates the Democratic party could have placed in front of him. Hillary Clinton had the charisma of a pile of shit and a track record to show how horrible of a person she was and to top it off there was a good 40 years or more of building and vilifying her by the Republican party.

Forbes has estimated that Trump would be richer if he had just invested his inheritance in the stock market instead of his Casinos, Hotels and Golf Courses. In fact if you remove his earnings from "The Apprentice", that portion of his "empire" has never made money and it that analysis seems to be supported by the tax returns that were found or released. Losses from those Casinos Hotels and Golf Courses are why he only paid $200 in taxes for multiple years and why he got a 73 million dollar tax rebate
It's not so much a scoop as it is an opinion. Where is the one on Harris? Let's hear about the eroded border security with 9 million illegal immigrants flown all over the country. They are receiving food & shelter, all on our dime. Not to mention the crimes they have committed. The 42 BILLIONs spent on internet that anyone has yet to connect to. Another 5 billion in electric charging stations, only 8 were built. Pulling out of Afghanistan, 13 service members lost their lives. Seven embassies have been forced to evacuate with this administration. BOTH parties have issues. I wish Americans would realize they were not born a Republican, or Democrat, but American. Has ANYONE ever officially looked into those who blindly support him to look deeply DEEPLY into the nature and mental and abilities of them and truly assessed their nature??? So sad if not publicly done for just excusing their behavior by "they are angry, feel they are overlooked by their government" which is NO FRIKIN EXCUSE!!!
I have! I haven’t synthesized all the information I’m gathering and organizing, yet. Here are some factors. 1) upbringing with authoritarian dynamics is a predisposing factor 2) due to the above, an inability to self trust to make good decisions, or know answers & simultaneously look out to an “authority” figure to tell them and they put blind trust in them 3) on fMRI studies of conservative vs liberal (self reported & tested to see if they met the criteria for each side) the conservatives show larger amygdala, which detect threat, experience emotions (fear being a big one). The liberals tend to have more matter in the anterior cingulate cortex, which helps with detecting error and dealing with conflicts. Conservatives tend (generally) to have a higher disgust sensitivity too. Liberals tend to have greater empathy. This isn’t 100% across the board, but is a big enough difference and consistency to be acknowledged. Whether the upbringing causes the brain changes…or the brain differences are genetic (I suspect it’s a combination, maybe some epigenetic factors at play too), I don’t know…but it’s an interesting thing to explore. Moving on 4) binary thinking seems greater in those on the conservative side. Much of this is interconnected and multifaceted… but going back to the larger amygdala, when fear is overactive, threat response heightened, the ability to see nuance, paradox, the middle ground, is almost non-existent. The fear of the unknown, uncertainty, a basic underlying tone of insecurity….drives the impulse to have an either/or, black/white, all/nothing, answer. Listen to how Trump speaks even, it is in those absolutes. This also reinforces those emotionally driven narratives into his followers. Complexity is threatening to a trump follower. Disagreeing is threatening. Others not like them, are threatening. All that sense of threat is played on by trump, and enhanced. It feeds his narratives of “scary” others, like immigrants. It’s a similar mentality to what cult leaders do to followers (same mental foundation as I described above), as they are vulnerable…and are told of the “bad” other, out there…and the leader will “save” them. There’s much more…and I intend to write either an article or book on this, when I can get it together! Anyways, keep in mind, that although it is very frustrating….people in that mindset have very high fear and low emotional maturity. They have strong, entrenched programs, in their brains that they aren’t conscious of, at all. Their capacity for self reflection is next to nil (because how can you self reflect, if doing so would threaten you AND you’re so busy looking outward for threat (or someone to blame) that you can’t. They are like scared, insecure, children, a sort of arrested development, believing the “monster under the bed” is real and they need someone to save them from that. Trump, who reinforced that the “monster” exists, has claimed to be the one to save them. Hope that illuminates it some… It doesn’t help to tell them how ridiculous they are, it’ll only reinforce the doubling down…as a side note. Asking questions in a genuine (if you can) way about how they came to believe certain things, and truly listening…and listening deeply for what they are afraid of, threatened by, no matter how inane, is a small possibility for light to break through and help them to see a little. It’s counterintuitive, and you may want to scream at how inane they seem…but their reality is constructed to keep them safe, no matter how ludicrous and maladaptive it may seem!
I still have a hard time believing that he was president for 4 years, how in the World that was allowed to happen, why there are unqualified people are allowed to be hired by government. That have to change it should not be allowed that any moron can run for government office.

What an outstanding interview. As I watched, I ordered three of Jon's books. I just have to read them. I'm not sure why since I have already read 16 books on Trump, but I just have to read these. If they are close to this interview, they will be thrilling.

Mark Burnett didn’t have a crystal ball. He’s been mentioned elsewhere in other deep dives. There’s no way, everything could be covered in this interview. I mean was Roy Cohn mentioned? Roger Stone? And so on? There are many who contributed to the Trump “character”.

I listen to this interview it is mine battling about President Donald Trump, I come from Red State Republicans in Wyoming...I'm 64 years old, now I do have doubts about the election. Do I really want to vote for president Trump? All the funds president Trump received from his followers, it all went to fight his battle in quarts, when I lost my house for tragic fire accident, I never received any help from the public. When I lost my job as a contractor, I did not get any help, I lost my equipments & my vehicles, on top of that my savings account, I nearly became homeless for a man never violated the law. We do have little over a month for the election, and now I have to think about my conscience who I will vote for. I love my America and I wish the best for our 🇱🇷citizens. I’m born and raised Wyoming too. I don’t see the Trump support here as much anymore. I voted McCain and Romney, but sat out 2016 because I couldn’t understand the appeal of Trump. I’ve worked in oil and gas for 17 years, and I understand that my vote for Biden in 2020 and Harris this year doesn’t help my industry, but it’s more important than that to me.

The administration that you want to blame…for all the “bad” that you’re blindly buying into…doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
The first 1-2 years of an administration the new administration is starting, pivoting, and it takes A WHILE. It is magical thinking, to believe that it happens overnight. That means, that the first 1-2 years still have a profound impact from the previous administration.
For example…Trump’s first 2 years were hugely impacted by residual from the Obama administration, in varying degrees, as new policies are instituted (which have to go through appropriate processes…again, do not happen overnight). Trump did throw out Obama’s pandemic plan (which had been put in place after the H1N1 pandemic) prior to COVID, and that turned out to be a horrible disaster, epic mistake. He had no replacement plan.
Harris/Biden’s first 1-2 years were hugely spent cleaning up the pandemic and economic messes…and then you started to see some of their influence, later on.
Truly, you really see an administration’s impact, with their fingerprints, if they are in 2 consecutive terms. By that second term, the administration is more fully reflective of that president and who works with him.
Guess you missed all that complexity…and attempted to oversimplify it?

The democratic party was and still is very undemocratic when it comes to the primaries. The candidate is almost always selected by party insiders. Not by democrat voters in general. Our caucuses and primaries are a rather closed system for a party that claims to so vehemently believe in democracy. "The voters decide," they screech while primaries and caucuses are often difficult to attend and even more difficult to get a vote in. Participation should be the ultimate goal but it really isn't in the interest of those in office. So they fight against democracy in those moments.
Democracy can"t only apply after the filters are applied and ridiculously controlled by only a few. That's how Hillary became the candidate. It's how Biden became the candidate. No one will change the process that worked for them. No matter how damaging it is to the "free and fair" claims they only apply during the general election.

11:28 when I was a culinary school student in New York in 2005, I went to an interview for a position at the Trump Tower grill on the lower level. The first thing the chef said to me when we sat down was “you probably saw the plaque on the outside of the building, saying we are the finest restaurant in the world. Obviously we’re not, but we do pretty good food.” lol. I never had any intention of taking the job because I always viewed Trump Tower and Trump himself as cringe and cheesy, no ambitious chef would want to work there. I just wanted the experience of the interview and right off the bat that chef confirmed my suspicions. It’s all a show.

In fact if you remove his earnings from "The Apprentice", that portion of his "empire" has never made money and it that analysis seems to be supported by the tax returns that were found or released. Losses from those Casinos Hotels and Golf Courses are why he only paid $200 in taxes for multiple years and why he got a 73 million dollar tax rebate

It's not so much a scoop as it is an opinion. Where is the one on Harris? Let's hear about the eroded border security with 9 million illegal immigrants flown all over the country. They are receiving food & shelter, all on our dime. Not to mention the crimes they have committed. The 42 BILLIONs spent on internet that anyone has yet to connect to. Another 5 billion in electric charging stations, only 8 were built. Pulling out of Afghanistan, 13 service members lost their lives. Seven embassies have been forced to evacuate with this administration.
BOTH parties have issues. I wish Americans would realize they were not born a Republican, or Democrat, but American. It would be one thing if the "Media" had integrity, & full transparency. We the people should NOT be ok with the flawless look that one side is given, while the other side is completely ripped apart. In what world are we living in? WW2 Vets, this isn't the same country they fought for! This should matter to every single citizen. Or do we let it not be an issue until the tables are turned? It's your children's future at stake. Do we let truth just fall to the wayside?

Has ANYONE ever officially looked into those who blindly support him to look deeply DEEPLY into the nature and mental and abilities of them and truly assessed their nature??? So sad if not publicly done for just excusing their behavior by "they are angry, feel they are overlooked by their government" which is NO FRIKIN EXCUSE!!!

I have! I haven’t synthesized all the information I’m gathering and organizing, yet.
Here are some factors.
1) upbringing with authoritarian dynamics is a predisposing factor
2) due to the above, an inability to self trust to make good decisions, or know answers & simultaneously look out to an “authority” figure to tell them and they put blind trust in them
3) on fMRI studies of conservative vs liberal (self reported & tested to see if they met the criteria for each side) the conservatives show larger amygdala, which detect threat, experience emotions (fear being a big one). The liberals tend to have more matter in the anterior cingulate cortex, which helps with detecting error and dealing with conflicts.
Conservatives tend (generally) to have a higher disgust sensitivity too. Liberals tend to have greater empathy.
This isn’t 100% across the board, but is a big enough difference and consistency to be acknowledged.
Whether the upbringing causes the brain changes…or the brain differences are genetic (I suspect it’s a combination, maybe some epigenetic factors at play too), I don’t know…but it’s an interesting thing to explore.
Moving on
4) binary thinking seems greater in those on the conservative side. Much of this is interconnected and multifaceted… but going back to the larger amygdala, when fear is overactive, threat response heightened, the ability to see nuance, paradox, the middle ground, is almost non-existent. The fear of the unknown, uncertainty, a basic underlying tone of insecurity….drives the impulse to have an either/or, black/white, all/nothing, answer.
Listen to how Trump speaks even, it is in those absolutes. This also reinforces those emotionally driven narratives into his followers.
Complexity is threatening to a trump follower. Disagreeing is threatening. Others not like them, are threatening.
All that sense of threat is played on by trump, and enhanced.
It feeds his narratives of “scary” others, like immigrants. It’s a similar mentality to what cult leaders do to followers (same mental foundation as I described above), as they are vulnerable…and are told of the “bad” other, out there…and the leader will “save” them.
There’s much more…and I intend to write either an article or book on this, when I can get it together!
Anyways, keep in mind, that although it is very frustrating….people in that mindset have very high fear and low emotional maturity. They have strong, entrenched programs, in their brains that they aren’t conscious of, at all. Their capacity for self reflection is next to nil (because how can you self reflect, if doing so would threaten you AND you’re so busy looking outward for threat (or someone to blame) that you can’t.
They are like scared, insecure, children, a sort of arrested development, believing the “monster under the bed” is real and they need someone to save them from that. Trump, who reinforced that the “monster” exists, has claimed to be the one to save them.
Hope that illuminates it some…
It doesn’t help to tell them how ridiculous they are, it’ll only reinforce the doubling down…as a side note. Asking questions in a genuine (if you can) way about how they came to believe certain things, and truly listening…and listening deeply for what they are afraid of, threatened by, no matter how inane, is a small possibility for light to break through and help them to see a little. It’s counterintuitive, and you may want to scream at how inane they seem…but their reality is constructed to keep them safe, no matter how ludicrous and maladaptive it may seem!
