Id love to hear triple h tell more wrestling stories on a podcast. Hes great man
especially talking about the fan that rushed the ring during a match he had with Austin where him and the ref beat the hell out of dude
he has a lot of humility and graciousness for a guy who busted his ass and worked himself literally to the top of the wrestling business. Like even if you watch the beginning of the video, he cracked a joke about making a list in response to the question, but he also still answered it professionally and graciously. He easily could have been condescending about it lol
They should make a documentary about the attitude era where the top guys sit in a room together and tell stories

This is why I get mad when people say wrestling is fake. That's such a bad umbrella word for what those guys are doing in that ring.
Its a performance it's not fake its like a mock battle in the pretense of a sporting event it can be entertaining

The match was Summerslam 2000. I remember watching it as a kid and thinking Kurt was doing great, they covered it up well.

That’s crazy I was actually watching this match the other day and I never realised. Thought it was all part of the storyline. Which it was to some extent but a lot was also improvised which you would never have guessed.

In nearly every other time I hear about this story of Kurt getting a legit concussion from this botch, they always talk about his head bouncing off the concrete floor. I think this is the only time where it's said Kurt's head smashed into a control box. And I recently re-watched the botch itself, and that's exactly what happens: Kurt's head crashes into one of the control boxes on the announce table when it breaks, not the floor.

I saw this live(from the rafters of the RBC Center we were sitting so high) and it was a holy shit moment(on a night of several between Shane falling from the stanchion and the TLC match) but of course we in the crowd have no clue as to the seriousness of it. Now I'm watching this match as we speak and you can see Hunter talking to Angle and trying to keep him from getting up. But HHH fails to mention here that he chases the stretcher and starts working Kurt over. LOL
