What a sad ending of this legendary season for her - after many big victories to end it with 1-6 losing set... But Iga should be proud of herself, i really hope the next year to be also great. Congrats to Aryna!

      1. They have cheated for 0ga most of the year, it's the only reason she has been winning (that motivation and confidence helps her go for shots others wont).
      2. Hopefully other players' teams start paying attention and coming out against tournaments, directors, umpires and lines people on the obvious cheating.
      3. This will put 0ga in her place; she will not win as many matches or tournaments.
      4. But if their cheating goes dismissed by players and their teams, 0ga will likely keep winning. CONGRATS, BABY GIRL, SABBIE!!!
Lastly, just look at the highlights: they are forcing 0ga appear as the winner or the better player, cutting off Aryna's dominance here.

Can you imagine the year she would have had with a serve like those all year long? She actually at one point had to serve underhand just to get it over the net! And it has to be said that she is the Queen of handling frustration. To hang in there and never give up on herself, or the belief, "I can do it," is truly remarkble. Exactly! Iga's first Slam in Roland Garros was great, then she started the antics recently, the jumping around and waving hands to obstruct an opponent's shot, trying to slow or break the rhythm of a server by walking to a towel, and the automatic bathroom breaks... Saba played smart , and her game, took a bathroom break after her 2nd set lost and handled Iga. Yes... well deserved win for Saba

Sabalenka played this well. Except on grass I don’t think anyone can play defensively and beat Iga. The only defensively orientated player to beat her this year was Cornet on grass. Aryna played aggressively and put Iga under a lot of pressure - this is a weakness in Igas tennis, she struggles to handle pressure which big hitters put on her. Very well done by Aryna. The bathroom breaks and holding up the server are getting a little tiring from Iga, even the commentators were mentioning it frequently.
