Last final , when she lost , I said don't worry ONS , titles will come, you are getting used to finals, now here it is , one of the most important WTA1000 titles , Bravo ONS ! You deserve it! Now let's go for a grandslam :D
Well deserved, she worked hard. She made history.
first round exit RG. well deserved!lol

It has happened to legends women & men, check out tennis history.

She’s such a kind person and talented! She can do any shot and hits such great depth on her groundstrokes. Very easy to root for and great for this game! Congrats on your win Ons!
Bravo Ons!!! 👏🏼👏🏼
You made Tunisia happy today 🇹🇳 🤩!
So we'll deserved! Two finals in a row! Ons wasn't going to let this one go! Smart play to conserve energy in 2nd set when already 3-0 down but still make Pegula work for it, then give it all in 3rd set! 👏👏👏🙏❤️
Ons' tennis is just pure magic. She got almost everything as her arsenal, speed, reflex, varieties, and craftiness, you name it, but sometimes she lacks confidence and doesn't believe in herself. Hoping that this will make her more confident in her own shoes. We love you Ons! Congrats! Kudos to Pegula as well, she's also a star of her own. 😊
I'm so very happy for Ons for what is the biggest win of her career thus far! I recall seeing her up close in person at the US Open a couple of years ago. I learned while I was watching that she was one of the first (if not the only) Tunisian woman to play on the WTA, that she had to qualify for the main draw, and that she was playing in one of her first grand slam event main draw matches that day. When she lost in straight sets, I watched her, and saw a rather downtrodden expression on her face (not unusual, of course), and I felt for her. Maybe that she was young, and so far from home, and being a lower-ranked player, and that she probably did not have the coaching staff/entourage with her to at least keep up her spirits. Physically, she was a bit unimpressive; she was not as tall as most female players of her generation, and perhaps a bit over the weight of most of them as well (the story of my life - shorter and heavier than most in my age group - of course, I'm no professional athlete)! I made it a point to remember her name, and said to myself that I'd watch for her. Since then, well, the rest is history; she is the consummate underdog success story in women's tennis, and with a fun to watch game too! Congratulations Ons Jabeur and tennis overall!
I love this story! :) thank you for sharing! im super happy for her, and i appreciate how you admired her from back then! You probably knew she got some talents.
Thank for the story , she will be World Number 1 Sir Soon 🤍🏆
Merci for Ons jabeur ! And love your story ♥️
Ons won Roland Garros Junior in 2011, she proved back then already that she had talent. A couple of years ago, she was already reaching the quarter finals of major tournaments like Cincinnati and Australian Open. She even reached the final of the Kremlin Cup back in 2017. Sure her W-L record wasn't as great as it is now but she didn't become a top 10 in just a couple of years...
@@houssem.khaled chill man we know that already
I’ve never doubt Jabeur! She’ll win any Grand Slam anytime soon.
Allah be with you, Jabeur. Inshaallah 🤲🙏. Congratulations 💐🇹🇳
Ons Jabeur 🇹🇳 this season so far:
. The player with the most victories so far on clay with 12 victories (last season she achieved 13 victories in the entire clay season)
. 17 victories without any loss when winning the first set
. The player with the most victories when the match goes to a 3rd set with 8 wins, accompanied by the American Amanda Anisimova
. The player with the most Aces in Madrid Open this year 👍
. In the quarter finals against Halep, she did 15/18 successful drop shots 🤯
A well deserved title 👏👏 (and hard luck to Pegula, who is also a wonderful player 🙏 )
So very happy to see Ons Jabeur winning a big final. She was always getting nervous in finals and couldn't play her best. It was such a mental block. Now that she has won a Masters, I hope she can play lose and win more titles. Her game is so so good. With more consistency and improved mental strength, sky is the limit for her.
Have my great thnks 🌷👌❤❤
So nice to see Jabeur win a 1000 level title. One of the most authentic players, both in her playing and her personality. Win or lose, she always plays the same tennis, and that is aggressive, fast-paced tennis with a lot of flair.
It sure was a difficult match but she did it and she made us Tunisians, Africans and Arabs proud. Thank you Ons I hope you win further titles you deserve the best.

Thrilled for Jabeur!! Pegula did a great job also, love her ground strokes, so smooth.
so so happy for Ons Jabeur, my fave!
but I will still mention - I wish the highlights would've consisted of imp points from both the players, hardly any Pegula points are shown. we want to see how the match went down, not just cheer for our favourites by replaying their shots. I am a tennis fan first, Jabeur fan second. ☺️
Bravo Ons! You made history by winning a major championship as a first Arabian woman tennis player. You are a magician. Congrats to you. 👏👍🤗

Two talented and likable players. Both are winners. Congratulations to Ons!
Ons winning a big title is a good sign for her (and dangerous for others). I would like to see her win RG, it would be a big boost for tennis in both Africa and the Islamic world.
Edit: She reminds me a lot of Li Na in a way, trailblazer and very likable.
Wow, that was a really beautiful final and a historic moment for Ons! Both players did a great job! Ons really deserves this title! Congrats, Ons! We're happy to see you wining in this beautiful way! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉✨️🎊💯
Just sad that she has the self-harming behavior when things do not work out for her - such as hitting herself in the head with the racket. It's not a pretty way.
Yeah, that's a good point! :)
Delighted for Ons. Lovely person as well as a great and improving player.
So Happy for Ons!!! The kindest player on the WTA and of one of the most exciting to watch. :)
More kind than Halep ? You know this how ?

Ons drop shots are awesome but is really great is how she backs them up with passes. She has so many options once her opponent is at net.
A lot of thanks for all non Tunisians who love and admire Ons Jabeur.
She has such a beautiful game and awesome feel. She reminds me of Roger a bit, the way he would hit shots that most human players would never even dream of let alone attempt. Well done!!

Sad that the stadium looks less than half packed. But congrats Ons and J.PEG
I was so disappointed in the Madrid crowd. I understand that they needed a break after the Alcaraz/Djokovic clash, but so few returned. It felt disrespectful.
Yay, you did it, Ons!!! You showed variety, mental strength and court craft. Congrats! So well deserved!!
Hard work always pays out, that the lesson that Ons teaches us. Braaaaavooo

Ons bravo 👏 people should appreciate her success for the whole world. This is amazing! Not easy not physically tennis wise etc, but socially- unbelievable! We appreciate you Ons.
Has any tennis player ever man or woman hit better drop shots than Ons Jabeur? I doubt it. INCREDIBLE.
No idea about the women's side, but on the men's side, Albert Portas, the "Drop Shot Dragon" was the best drop shotter I've ever seen (was so good with it, that it was actually a major weapon).
Nice I'm proud to be an African and see a young lady from Tunísia dominating this game 🎾.... Keep it up.🤞🏾 I'm from Angola 🇦🇴

I’m an American but I was rooting for Jabeur. She definitely has what it takes to win a few slams during her career.
Nothing againt Ons but as an American I wanted Pegula to win and make history on clay court.
Congratulations to both Women in the, Madrid Finals. Your active participation in all tournaments, has strengthened you to keep playing and strive to be the defending Champion. Ons Jabeur, powerful game, great stride in your game. 🏆💰🎾😃👋🏽👏🏽🙌🏽😁🍹
I'm such a fan of BOTH these women who couldn't have had more polar opposite lives and paths. Hence its even more amazing how similar they are when it comes to the grit, the on court demeanor, the sportsmanship, the talent. Such a joy and treat to watch these two exemplary athletes compete. Bravo!

Jabeur lost a lot of weight to improve her agility and now the results are here! Stunning palyer with great skills.. curius to see more of her grand slam performances!! Good luck keep up the great efforts!
So happy for Jabeur. I think she is a very good sportsperson, always hugging her opponent, win or loss. As an aside, I kind of miss her wearing shorts. I think shorts makes her different from the rest :)
Well deserved 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 our champion 🏆 proud of you ONS ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥇
I guess Ons is our Barty Replacement with a prettier db backhand and a slightly weaker serve!
Yess, so happy for Ons! The hard-working, passion, patience and respect to the opponents, don't matter of the result got its result - finally first WTA 1000 title for her.
With Iga (who is in god mode) and Simona (who is coming back to the best form), i put Ons (with two consecutive finals in clay tournaments!) like one of the contenders for French Open title.
Hope that to be only the beggining for Ons, i see her more confident since her match with Halep!
Yes, Ons is def. a favorite. I wouldn't mind seeing Simona hold the trophy but would be delighted if Ons won her 1st GS @ Roland Garros!!!
Congrats Ons Jabeur on your first WTA 1000 victory! Truly deserve it!
Congratulation Jabeur bravo! For your victory to day.😘
Nice match to watch. Both ladys have unique strategy. Congrats Ons Jabeur.
Delighted for Jabeur. What a fabulous skill set she has. That backhand is a thing of beauty. Barty’s backhand is also sweet but Jabeur has that lethal drop shot that has her opponents’ chests heaving trying to chase it down. Ons has been mentally brittle when getting close to the finishing line but not this time. Really hope this can help her go all the way in one of this big ones. Ons y va!!!! 🇹🇳 🎾
By all accounts Ons is a sweet person. Good to see people like this win.
I'm Tunisian and I am proud of Ons either way (winning or losing)
......
Only a matter of time for Ons to win a big title. She's similar to Barty I think but i prefer her style more.
Well done ONS Great job you the best keep it up ❤️🇹🇳💯
Congrats ons, proud of you ♥️
Proud of her she deserves to win 🇹🇳❤️
Hard work come to fruition.
Great run, title well deserved.
Well done Jabeur and your team too.🌹🌹🌹🥂🍾
The way she uses the slice is similar to the way Barty used to use it. I like the variety in her game. Shows you don’t have to blast the cover off the ball every shot to win.
Well it was a matter of time, with her talent and variety especially on clay - one of the best drop shots in the women's game. A very well rounded set of skills. Hope she goes deep in Rome and RG.
Congrats Ons.. a deserved Title 🇹🇳🇹🇳🇹🇳
Well done Ons,. Love her game . Great win
I think if someone deserved to win this tournament it’s Ons Jabeur!
The winner deserved to win because they won. 😑
@@binkyxz3 that makes no sense. 😮💨
@@jamieleroy4243 No, what makes no sense is to think your emotional attachment to a player can or should affect the outcome of a fair contest.
@@binkyxz3 really!! You think I’m emotionally attached. 😂 dude seriously go see a doctor. You need your brain checked out. Loooooool 😆😂
Explain how Ons "deserves" to win more than the other player.
Congratulations Ons 👏👏👏❤❤❤ you made us Tunisian happy ❤❤❤
We Iranians are happy too.
Not her best match of the tournament but overall the title is well deserved for Jabeur, especially after beating Bencic and Halep. She had once again many moments of frustration and irritation, she almost broke her racket on her head, but this is further experience that will help her better control her emotions in the future. Now I think she should skip Rome to better focus on Roland Garros.
I think so too. But she has had the habit of overcrowding her schedules which led to her being exhausted and not really having a proper go at many tournaments.
RG она не возьмёт..самое высокое место это ⅛ финала!!🤣🌺🤣
She won't miss Rome, she will face Cirstea in R1
I'd understand if you stop including both the winner's speech and runner up speech but at LEAST give us a clip of the trophy lift
Exactly what I was thinking..
It's faster to get the match highlights up first and do the the ceremony separately later.
