    Saulo, I am just starting to learn poker and i am deepy interested in beginning to learn how to build myself a strategy
    I just made an online poker account but havent actually played yet, are there any people/resources you recommend for noobies at my introduction levels?

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  Год назад

      Hey mate! If you are completely new to the game, I would say just consume as much as free content as you can. There is plenty of material in the internet particularly on RUclips. Don't be too concerned with who is giving the information at this point, just watch tons of videos and try it out at microstakes online. From there you will grow your knowledge about the game, and in a few months you will be more capable of discerning what is good information and what is not.
      Hope that helped. Good luck!!

    Nice video as always Saulo
    Could you give me your thoughts about 2 things? (Considering anonymous pool and none deception is needed)
    River scary in a board that has sizing down with value IP by theory for example. Lets say villain has call GTO vs pot and 5% overfold vs 50%. Exploitative we should bet always pot as value right?
    Same with Turn Barrel in a Flush card, If there is overcall or overfold vs This size, we can always overbet exploitative with 2p lets say vs overcall, or bluff vs overfold, even if max size is 75%.
    Thanks for the content

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  Год назад +1

      Your line of thinking has some merit. When someone overfolds to a given betsizing, this decreases the EV of value betting with that sizing and increases the EV of bluffing with that sizing.
      However, it's all about the math of the spot. So, its a quantitative question rather than a qualitative one.
      So, for example, it could happen that even if people overfold 10% to 3/4 sizing it sill remains as the most profitable value bet sizing in that circumstance, when compared to other sizing options.
      The only way to know for sure which sizing is optimal is by modeling precisely the response of the population against the different options you are considering to use.
      Hope that helped my friend! Cheers

    • @CristianGVB
      @CristianGVB Год назад

      @@saulocostapoker would you say the main factor for a “bad” sizing response because of overfold for value bet, or overcall for bluffing, that remains the most +EV one, is the board being scary?
      Really helped, thank you!

    Hola Saulo, la mano de AT 4bet bluff en BTN board 857c5c5 hasta el turn me parece estandar el bluff, pero cuando cae el 5 que hace que sus full no foldean , no veo razon para continuar el bluff en river . A que manos apuntas a tirar ? Piensas que un full de 99/TT/JJ o un 7x puede foldear ?

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  Год назад

      Yeah I dont think people call all their pocket pairs there. I have all the JJ+, its a tough spot for the middling pps and flushes

De haber caido otra carta que no deja full con PP si me gusta mas el allin porque ahora sus PP se van a ver muy presionadas por el color + los JJ + de nuestro rango
