Tutorial on Needle Felting with different fibers and yarns on linen with a little embroidery.

Tracey @artfiberstitch loves to experiment with lots of different fibers when needle felting. This landscape uses different yarns, a little wool roving, and bits and pieces. Needle felting on a linen background, works well. The addition of the novelty yarns add so much texture and interest to this versatile craft, but the addition of a few simple embroidery stitches is the perfect finishing touch.

Hi Tatiana Simple acrylic felt makes a great base for your needle felting. The yarns are just something you have to experiment with. It is true that wool works best, but I have found plenty of other yarns that work too! Especially textured or fluffy ones.
