Today is the first time I am visiting your place, and really like the way you expose the matter...you are an amazing young girl with a heart of mature person
Love your sweater! I have a bland pullover that has some holes in it, It would be awesome to cover the stitches with a nice embroidery like yours ❤ I should start learning embroidery, it is so usefull!
So I have a sweater that’s 70% acrylic and 30% wool and I read online that there’s basically no way to lighten it because the color around the neck and the ends of the sleeves are this sort of ugly brown color BUT someone suggested that I get some pretty yarn (of the same blend) and over-stitch/embroider fully over those areas but how would I do that? (I’ve never embroidered before) how would I do it so the neck is still somewhat stretchy for example to go over my head? Any reds purses would be greatly appreciated. 😌☺️✨
If you embroider with knit stitches over the part that is brownish, I don't see why there wouldn't be stretch as usual, because you haven't added any "blocker" so o say. The knit stitch with yarn is already "stretchy" by nature so replicating it will keep that flexibility :) There's a hole module in our course on Embroidery on clothes that I think would be very helpful for you! Very beautifully but u did all that work then made a coffee and put it on ur work surface right next to ur project witch I might add is what got u into having to do this project crazy ... I play dungeons and dragons ( paper and pencil version not a video game ) and drinks r not allowed on the table due to this same issue . It's not so fun re writing ur character sheet that u can't read fully because it's destroyed ... or books getting recked that cost alot of money
