Thank you so much for publishing this video I missed Orford Road a lot I used to work as a chef in the village kitchen before the area have changed a lot 😊 Thanks
It's so quiet! I've always found it very soothing to hear nothing but muffled voices. I remember camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains as a kid and listening to all the people talking around fires underneath the Cricket sounds.
@@ActiveTowns If I ever get rich, I will build a car-free town. Next time you are in Arizona, visit Anthem, which is just north of Phoenix if you have time. It's not a car-free town, but it has a network of paths throughout, some concrete but a lot of decomposed granite.
@@kitchencarvings4621 Cool! I will definitely check it out. Maybe when I return to Culdesac for a follow up profile once they complete their buildout. Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, my local contact/expert was unavailable that week, but I will work to get them on a future podcast episode. Thanks so much for tuning in. Cheers! John

I liked that girl toward the end, spinning loops around a planted foot on her scooter.
It's a good route if kids can play like that.
Exactly! 🙌
Beautiful place.
Yes indeed!
That was a really nice video.
Yay! So glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching. Cheers! John
It looks very relaxed their that Spar Lorry looked a bit out of space but it was only delivering I imagine.
Yeah, and that was in the early morning, when I suspect those deliveries are encouraged.
Humans outside of metal boxes is always a good sign 😅
Precisely!
A shame you didn't do any interviews.

@@ActiveTowns Hello John, I was really referring to the people we saw in your video. The locals who were using that new-found freedom.
