The writers said it was 20 years in future. I think they said 2040. So it’s 22 years. Which means William is suppose to be 35. Not sure I by that age as that actor but whatever. Roy reminded me of old man Oliver in a way. I loved it.
the *expert way* the show AGED Roy into the *seasoned / grizzled archer* he becomes in that flash-forward, is nothing short of *amazing!* - i had to *rewind it back* a couple timez cuz i barely recognized him!!! 😱😱😱
What if this is future William seeking out Roy because Barry wasn't the only one to vanish... Remember in the future timeline Oliver, Ray Palmer and Hawkgirl was fighting Reverse Flash with Barry... What if something happened to Oliver after that fight...?
Reallyyy liked this episode tbh, ending tripped me out! Had some issues with last season but had a few REALLY good eps, but this here could be it chief
Honestly, Laurel v 2's existence REALLY pisses me off still, and the re-used "lost my duaghter and im drunk" plot for the 3rd time almost made me quit arrow xD
Hey Hey guys! Thank you for making these videos!! You guys remind me of my aunt and uncle and for them (and yall) I got alot of love and respect!!!! Keep up the awesome videos!!!
I suppose Diaz has been training to intense degree since these last 5 months to be disarmed by Felicity and tackled down when he has a gun and she has makeshift kitchen supplies. Or maybe she has been taking self defense at the place next to Starbucks
Nice Reaction today guys. My favorite reactions of yours is from the CW shows. Its going to be a hell of a year. I feel like they are writing all the shows together now, even though, they all feel very isolated within their own shows. This is going to be the year we see the writing evolution just go way up. No other studio teams have ever done writing like this. Last year was just a taste and now they are in their stride in working through the other shows.
I can never understand the Felicity hate. Jeez. When I'm not a fan of a character I usually just keep my mouth shut on reviews because I know they're other people out there who are going to like that person. I don't need to s*** on them to feel good. Anyway, this season premiere was absolutely amazing. I've been waiting to see you guys reaction, especially for the ending:D Present day new Green Arrow I think is either, Roy, William (from the future) or Olicity's future daughter (been hearing that rumor). Either way, can't wait for the next episode.
Why do people hate her? Let's see. She's a writer self insert character that has had some of the WORST scenes and storylines in the whole show and was huge part of the WORST seasons of this show which also happened to be the seasons that treated Black Canary, the lead heroine of arrow franchise, completely wrong. And the writer response to that was to push the character and the pairing even harder. Oh and that's not counting Felicity's fanbase being absolutely most annoying part of this fandom, sending death threats to actors, body shaming and harassing katie cassidy, etc. TLDR - people hate felicity because felicity encompasses A LOT of what's wrong with Arrow. And her fanbase makes Supernatural fandom look moderately civil.
The only people who hated Felicity are the whiny Lauriver fans, some fundamentalist comics fans and the pathetic fanboys. Many of them threatened so much Emily that CW and the producers asked her she wanted to be with under protection. She stopped using her Twitter account as regularly as she did before... The vast majority of the people who like Felicity don't come on RUclips. That's why you can think that many people hate her. But that's not true. They hate her because they wanted Oliver to be with Laurel e-1 who died. They hate her because she dares challenge Oliver and refuses to say yes to everything Oliver says. They hate her because she's real and tough.
Harry Desden That is bullshit. The writers did a terrible job with her character in s4 because they gave her a lot of bad protagonism and that is it. The fact that Laurel has less protagonism is because the writers did a terrible job with her character (Felicity isnt responsably of this) and the actress of Laurel dont have the best chemistry with SA on screen, exactly the oppositte that Emily has. If you watched the first 2 season, Felicity was after Oliver the best and most lovely character of the show. After s4 some idiot blame her for the entire season and the death of Laurel for make Olicity happen but Olicity happened with Laurel alive and Laurel was a terrible character since the beggining, her "transformation" in BC all of her was shit. That wasn´t Felicity´s fault.
Felicity also was nothing more than recurring extra in those first seasons - which is why she worked. Because she was this gimmicky character who appears once in a while. That stopped working when she started appearing ALL the time. And no writers are absolutely to blame because the way they cuddled up to and pandered Felicity's fanbase while ignoring outright harassment Katie Cassidy suffered from them is inexcusable. Also yes, Guggenheim can't write Laurel for life. Still does not justify what he did with her.
Seeing how Diaz has been sneaking in and out of places, I'd say he's doing some training with the Longbow Hunters. If they're training him how to be a better fighter this season (this is just me speculating), we might start seeing The Dragon that people expected.
Is it weird that at the end of this I suddenly yelled out: "IT'S A FLASH FORWARD! IT'S A FLASH FORWARD! IT'S A FLASH FORWARD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHAAHAHAHAHA! YOU DID IT YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARDS!"?
Best premier so far in the CW. flash forwards, I like it. What if the new vigilante is William, from the future. They confirmed the flash forward us from 20 years in the future.
The way I interpreted the new Green Arrow is that he is an older William in a timeline where Diaz never gets caught and Oliver is still in jail or at least forbidden from being the Green Arrow as part of his release. Older William finds Roy who, like Oliver in season 2, went into self-imposed exile. However, unlike Oliver who had family and friends to convince him to return to Starling City, he stays on the island. I think this is because the only person Roy truly considered family or a reason to return to society is Thea, and she is with Nyssa and the League of Asassins. Therefore, Roy refuses to re-enter vigilantism but offers to teach William. He uses the hosen to find Lian Yu (which Felicity gave to him and promised to take back after Diaz is caught; she also promises to wait for Oliver as long as it takes) to verify his identity to Older Roy. Once he's trained up enough in his own time, Older William contacts Sara (remember she was there when Oliver was arrested, so she'd be willing to help William) and goes back to the current timeline. I think we are going to have to accept that Roy is not going to be the new GA in this timeline. He may help out the team in some way but not don the hood. Oliver made it super clear that Roy Harper was not the Green Arrow in his identity reveal speech in season 6. I am pretty sure the new showrunners and writers are going to stick to that since it would be too obvious a writing choice and Roy never took up the mantle in the comics. Remember in the premiere of Flash, Wally said the Legends have a theory that there are hard points and soft points in the timeline. He said Nora could help catch the villians but not mess with anything concrete in the timeline, like when Barry's mother died For Arrow, I think the most recent hard point in the timeline is Oliver revealing his identity and going to prison. As long as William does not prevent that, and solely goes after Diaz and his associates, then the timeline will stay in tact. Plus, this way Diaz can't find out his identity because William is already in the timeline as a teenager so he won't be able to get any ID information on older William. Once he's caught, Sara takes adult William back to the future and then Oliver gets released in the 2018 timeline.
What if it is older William in the suit. Taking on his father's original mission with the notebook. He learned all his skill from Roy. And what if he time jumped with Barry's daughter Nora. Maybe he came back to get his father out of prison. Just a thought. Love your channel.
Oliver trained Roy and had him on team arrow which really changed Roy's life around from once being a criminal to actually having a purpose..once shit got too real and Roy was in prison Oliver faked roy's death giving him a new life and identity to be anyone he wants in the world almost like a father figure so I think Roy is the new GA honoring the green arrow.
I think the new guy in the hood is future William. I’m thinking that something happens after Oliver’s death that causes William to seek out Roy to get his training then travel back to save Oliver.
I bet it is half sister Emiko Queen... One if the episodes this year is named after her, plus in the comics Robert Queen had a daughter with shadow I believe..
I would love it if the Flash Forwards this season parallel with the Flash Backs in season 1. Yao Fei and Slade taught Oliver, now it looks like Roy will be teaching William
What if in the crossover everyone finds out that Nora didnt come alone to the past and that the person she came back with is the Vigilante (Future William)... Just a Theory
Here is my take on the new season of Arrow. The action between Roy and William on the island (and wherever else it leads) IS THE PRESENT DAY. Everything else back in Star City is a flashback. I think the planned Elseworlds crossover is perfect for this because it won't take place in the same universe or even the multiverse as it will be a complete "what-if" fantasy. That way the Arrow timeline gets to exist on its own rather than all of the other shows (primarily The Flash) also existing as flashbacks (not pun intended) along with Arrow. If this is indeed what is happening, I think it's brilliant and might actually be signaling that this will be Arrow's final season (or at least the final season with Ollie and the original group - perhaps Roy will become the new GA at the end of the season. Who knows?)
Crazy theory and probably not true, but what if that mysterious Green Arrow is actually William from the future somehow come back to the past? What if they introduce time travel this season because something bad happens to either Felicity or Oliver and William gets training from future Roy and goes back to stop it, like Terminator? Yes, normally Arrow doesn't mess with time travel, but this is the same show that introduced magic to the Arrowverse, and included the metahuman scifi elements introduced in the Flash. The reason why I'm thinking this is because when Colton Haynes talked about his appearing on Arrow again, he said that what he was told about the plan for his character was really crazy and implied that it hadn't been done before on Arrow. That's the only way the flashforwards makes sense to me. Just putting it out there.
I think the new green arrow is Roy..maybe that's to obvious tho? Seems like a lot of nods too season 1..Roy, crossing off names on a list, giving the criminals money back to the community and someone honoring the hood just like Oliver did in season 1.
I think that would be too easy, I want it to be Roy too but it could be Future William. Some people mentioned this before, and he does all those flips so it could've been William and Roy taught William everything.
I have 3 theory's as to who that other GA is the 1st is Connor Hawk a.k.a John diggle Jr seen as he was in Legends in the future as GA 2nd Theory is Roy as everyone else choice or 3rd it could be a future William seeing as it showed him in the future in this episode. Also I think they are going this fast forward route for the legends like crossover wise but thats just my opinion what do y'all think? btw I'm glad you guys are happy to be watching arrow again now your reactions for this season gonna be even more lit! Now thats Real :D
Theory this is the Arrow from Elseworlds aka grant to save Oliver and tie into the crossover cause they need him. Or Future Roy has a list of people to kill to prevent Oliver dying idk or Nora fucked shit up hard
it's gotta be wiiliam in the mask, he is intellectually on the level of felicity. So he could gather intel on his own, also he from the future. Like tre said about the Flash Arrow parallel; Nora came back to spend time with her Dad. William could have used future tech to come back to do the same thing. BUT whoever it is I hope they make the reveal better than "vigilante" or "savatar" lol
Arrow is going to be confirmed for season 8 i read... Roy is the arrow i think they going with what happened with diggle son in legends of tommorow.. ,Roy probably trains William in the future.. The last scece roy is wearing red?
The new Green Arrow kind of look like a black dude. I'm really liking the idea and thinking William might of come back with Nora. Or he is a future Legend or used magic. Only way I see for Oliver to get out of prison is for Lyla to restart the Suicide Squad and take him as part of it.
Just a theory but.....what if Roy trains William to be the arrow and then the Legends bring William back to the present to be the current arrow to help his dad get out of prison.
I doubt this is going to be the last season of Arrow. Simply because of how big the show has become. If this season is the last season, consider me in and I haven't watched this show since season four.
can't even argue with that statement this episode - when felicity put the dumbest of all dumb questions to beatup prison oliver, *"do you know what it feels like not being able to protect your family?"* 😑 ngl, i felt like *double tappin her* my damn self😡
nelly - not a hater, matter of fact i root for felicity most of the time. in that scene she just annoyed tf out me right then... btw, i'm not into this whole YT thing of calling ppl names because of sum damn TV show so if that's you, miss me with that bullshit...
+Joe G i admit she can still be annoying at times..but all the characters are at some point. to me dinah was super annoying in this episode..but i usually like her. but some fanboys are really the worst. they go on and on with the hate..i mean grow up already.
Could it be William from the future. Maybe he join the legend or the legend bring william back to the past. That the only thing i can think of. I can see William or Roy Harper doing the list. I could be way off
Hands down, one of the BEST Arrow episodes! Facts!
Lian yu is my favorite
Nora forgot to mention she brought William back in time too. XD
Oops lol
heard this on blindwave x'D
The writers said it was 20 years in future. I think they said 2040. So it’s 22 years. Which means William is suppose to be 35. Not sure I by that age as that actor but whatever. Roy reminded me of old man Oliver in a way. I loved it.
the *expert way* the show AGED Roy into the *seasoned / grizzled archer* he becomes in that flash-forward, is nothing short of *amazing!* - i had to *rewind it back* a couple timez cuz i barely recognized him!!! 😱😱😱
Joe G exactly i thought for a second *is that Eddie from Flash??*
True. He looks like he's in his 20s. But hey. Some people don't look their age. So I still buy it.
I do, the guy had some wrinkles on his face
Winter's Beauty my thing is why would William wait 20 years to visit lean yu.
LOL I loooooooved this!!!!! You haven't failed this city....
That ending was insane i love it😂😂
@4:28 that *"TRE acting a fool on ARROW"* side eye👀 has RETURNED!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"You should have killed me" best line from him since the shouting match against Diggle.
Had some issues with last season but had a few REALLY good eps, but this here could be it chief
i feel like they used the same techniques to AGE Roy that was utilized on *grizzled, one-armed Oliver* when the LEGENDS *time-jumped to 2046...*
J Bro Ik crazy earth 2 shit
Honestly, Laurel v 2's existence REALLY pisses me off still, and the re-used "lost my duaghter and im drunk" plot for the 3rd time almost made me quit arrow xD
I LOVE YOU GUYS! Y'all had me rolling this whole video! That S7 premiere was ERRTHANG!
@13:11 *"OOH! the back of the KNEE!!!"* 💀😅😆
The new green arrow might have come from the future with nora west allen.....and be a couple.........
Tre has the comic history/mythology. Tasha is the detective. Very detailed oriented. Love her. Love the reactions and the reviews.
that's definitely their dynamic during reactions👌🏾 #ACCURATE
Hey Hey guys! Thank you for making these videos!! You guys remind me of my aunt and uncle and for them (and yall) I got alot of love and respect!!!! Keep up the awesome videos!!!
5 seasons of flashbacks, one season entirely in the present, and now flash forward.
Just like slade teaching Oliver, roy will be teaching William how to be the green arrow
I wanted that Asian kid to be Ryan choi 😂...
Roy was never named Speedy on arrow. He was Arsenal
Brandon Mobley Oliver actually referred to him as speedy in season 3 at least once. Maybe twice
he was speedy until the beginning of season 4
I suppose Diaz has been training to intense degree since these last 5 months to be disarmed by Felicity and tackled down when he has a gun and she has makeshift kitchen supplies. Or maybe she has been taking self defense at the place next to Starbucks

Stephen Amell has said he's signed on through season eight, if the show gets another season.
Charmed Original yeah and if the season gets good ratings he’ll carry on,I mean it has 2 9/10s from IMDb so it’s looking amazing
I'm not so sure, CW said so themselves that there are no plans to end Arrow anytime soon.
Bruh, that ending shocked the hell out of me! This should be a good season!
I think its William from the future in present day, or maybe William asked Roy to go back in time in hopes of getting Oliver out
0:44 the homie TRE gotta couple different *comic book looks* goin on rn - *Oliver Queen* Beard / *King T'Challa* natural fro 👌🏾
Seeing how Diaz has been sneaking in and out of places, I'd say he's doing some training with the Longbow Hunters. If they're training him how to be a better fighter this season (this is just me speculating), we might start seeing The Dragon that people expected.

No way future William is green arrow makes sense
Gunna be weird when Oliver fights him
Damn and I thought Flash’s premiere was good. 🤯🤯 This Arrow episode gave me all sorts of feels in 40 minutes 🔥🔥
Looks like Barry isn’t the only one who has a time traveling kid.
The guy that took Oliver's food off his tray and fought him was Michael Jai White (Spawn). And Tasha I'm one that got happy for a second.
Married2thereal. the actor is Vinnie Jones who also plays Juggernaut in XMen The Last Stand
Oh lawd.....did y'all see the new crossover poster that Amell just tweeted out???

The song in the beginning of the episode that you said sounds familiar, is the song used in the TITANS trailer.
Don't forget though guys, that Speedy was Thea's name "in the show" and for Roy they went with "Arsenal" As a shout out to Young Justice, maybe??
What if it is older William in the suit. Taking on his father's original mission with the notebook. He learned all his skill from Roy. And what if he time jumped with Barry's daughter Nora. Maybe he came back to get his father out of prison. Just a thought. Love your channel.

2:51 that's me the entire episode I was like I know that guy but I couldn't remember
ngl, ARROW really got me with that *flash-forward reveal!* - *"Grizzled" Roy!!!* 🤯🤯🤯💀🏹 #IMSHOOK LIKE# 115
What the devil was that ending?!
Dope episode, dope reaction!
I think the new guy in the hood is future William. I’m thinking that something happens after Oliver’s death that causes William to seek out Roy to get his training then travel back to save Oliver.
My boy Oliver out here fighting butt-naked like Mirio Togata from My Hero Academia.
I bet it is half sister Emiko Queen... One if the episodes this year is named after her, plus in the comics Robert Queen had a daughter with shadow I believe..
I would love it if the Flash Forwards this season parallel with the Flash Backs in season 1. Yao Fei and Slade taught Oliver, now it looks like Roy will be teaching William
welp I will be watching arrow again even if Adrian isn't on there (never thought I would say that)… the writers better keep it up!!1
Great reaction and a fantastic premiere to start the season can’t wait to next week.
Already love this season than the entirety of season 6.
What if in the crossover everyone finds out that Nora didnt come alone to the past and that the person she came back with is the Vigilante (Future William)... Just a Theory
New Green Arrow is future William. He came back in time with XS from The Flash
Here 4 the long haul arrow so lit!!!
I don't think this will be the last season of Arrow, no. I think they're just building things for the final season.
I love the way you guys react to stuff
Tasha the red gatorade is my fav flavor too!
17:59 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Spot on!
Here is my take on the new season of Arrow. The action between Roy and William on the island (and wherever else it leads) IS THE PRESENT DAY. Everything else back in Star City is a flashback.
What if he doesn't end up training William. What if he just tells him a story of things that happened years ago.
barry fucking with the timeline again lmao.
Great Episode!!
This man hit buddy with a weight and no blood came out lol
Forget rivaling season 2 this thing could rival season 5. If the villians are as crazy as chase this season is gonna be good.
I didn't even see Curtis in this ep 🤣
I think the new green arrow is Roy..maybe that's to obvious tho? Seems like a lot of nods too season 1..Roy, crossing off names on a list, giving the criminals money back to the community and someone honoring the hood just like Oliver did in season 1.
I think that would be too easy, I want it to be Roy too but it could be Future William. Some people mentioned this before, and he does all those flips so it could've been William and Roy
taught William everything.
Tyler Ross I noticed the flips as well..it could be either one but let's face it these cw shows aren't always with huge surprises
Guys, it's a flashforward. This Will maybe's 2042 ... just maybe.
I loved this episode! Man to be honest this was better than Black Lightning just slightly
This was literally my reaction to the krypton season finale.
I really hope that this is not the last season I love this show I have been a fan since the OG season and I want there to be many more seasons
My thing is if they did a huge time jump wouldn’t that affect the future crossovers?????
That intro😂😂
I have 3 theory's as to who that other GA is the 1st is Connor Hawk a.k.a John diggle Jr seen as he was in Legends in the future as GA 2nd Theory is Roy as everyone else choice or 3rd it could be a future William seeing as it showed him in the future in this episode. Also I think they are going this fast forward route for the legends like crossover wise but thats just my opinion what do y'all think? btw I'm glad you guys are happy to be watching arrow again now your reactions for this season gonna be even more lit! Now thats Real :D
IT WAS AMAZING
Take a shot every time Tre says "booty cheeks"
This is the second time they killed Felicity.
William time travelled
Theory this is the Arrow from Elseworlds aka grant to save Oliver and tie into the crossover cause they need him.
Or
Future Roy has a list of people to kill to prevent Oliver dying idk or Nora fucked shit up hard
it's gotta be wiiliam in the mask, he is intellectually on the level of felicity.
Hail_Snydra Why did you kill the vibe talking about vigilante. That reveal was hilarious tbh. It was a joke. Lol
Arrow is going to be confirmed for season 8 i read... Roy is the arrow i think they going with what happened with diggle son in legends of tommorow.. ,Roy probably trains William in the future.. The last scece roy is wearing red?
Oliver isn't stuck the prisoners.
The Prisoners are stuck with Oliver.
If this is the last season (which I hope), then they'll write it like it is and I have no problem with that.
The new Green Arrow kind of look like a black dude. I'm really liking the idea and thinking William might of come back with Nora. Or he is a future Legend or used magic. Only way I see for Oliver to get out of prison is for Lyla to restart the Suicide Squad and take him as part of it.
This is obviously going to be the last season because if looks like Oliver,Roy, and maybe even thea are getting super old.
No, it's not.
William took up the Arrow mantle and is completing his father's list?
Just a theory but.....what if Roy trains William to be the arrow and then the Legends bring William back to the present to be the current arrow to help his dad get out of prison.
The new show runner said they will be showing Flash forwards this season.
William is future green arrow
I doubt this is going to be the last season of Arrow. Simply because of how big the show has become. If this season is the last season, consider me in and I haven't watched this show since season four.
Ok yall what if oli see the the future in dreams bout felicity dying thats why oli stayd on the island, saying thats y his son searches fr him
Flash arrow and black lighting is the show to watch
Oliver's nightmare of Felicity dying is my favourite dream. Yeah I'm a horrible person, fight me!
can't even argue with that statement this episode - when felicity put the dumbest of all dumb questions to beatup prison oliver, *"do you know what it feels like not being able to protect your family?"* 😑
ngl, i felt like *double tappin her* my damn self😡
+Joe G the only annoying thing about her left are her haters. you are really getting pathetic.
nelly - not a hater, matter of fact i root for felicity most of the time. in that scene she just annoyed tf out me right then...
btw, i'm not into this whole YT thing of calling ppl names because of sum damn TV show so if that's you, miss me with that bullshit...
nelly She’s annoying as shit
+Joe G i admit she can still be annoying at times..but all the characters are at some point. to me dinah was super annoying in this episode..but i usually like her. but some fanboys are really the worst. they go on and on with the hate..i mean grow up already.
What if the other Green Arrow is William and thats why they are Showing The flash-forward but they would have to show some time travel shit in there.
its a damn shame we had Oliver in Iron Heights and Barry in Iron Heights at different times. Like what a wasted opportunity
the new green arrow had a smaller frame and more slender, possible female green arrow?? anyone still know what happened to Artemis??
Could it be William from the future. Maybe he join the legend or the legend bring william back to the past. That the only thing i can think of. I can see William or Roy Harper doing the list. I could be way off
is there not any more arrow season 7 reactions on here I only see about 3
It’s a 20 year time jump
The green arrow is William mark my word✌️
