My only child died in a miscarriage so I have had much occation to comtemplate this topic. I have taken comfort in the passage of Jeremiah 20:14-18. Here Jeremiah laments the day of his birth. He has suffered so much in this world that he wishes he was never born. He does NOT lament that he was conceived, just born. He actually wanted to die in his mothers womb so he could have escaped the tumult of his time. It is my opinion (which I am not claiming to be right) that my child received the blessing that Jeremiah wished for. I named my child Jeremiah. Later I found the same sentiment expressed by Job in the whole chapter of 3. I personally don't believe they wished in vain, I believe that they believed that miscarriaged babies will be in heaven.
There is one nice EGW Quote (sorry, I can’t give the reference) EGW said that the parents of children who left the truth and then died, in some cases had very young children who died before the age of Accountably and those children will be placed in the arms of the Faithful GRANDPARENTS by the angels to raise during the Millennium.

What about the children of unfaithful parents who were guided and led and prayed for by faithful grandparents?
