I’m really happy that Dubai is taking good care of you. I miss Dubai 😭 you were right about the opposite side being public beaches in JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence). I usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels in JBR and each time I’m blown away at the level of luxury I get for the price I’m paying.
Just found your channel and started following you! I lived and worked in Dubai for 3 years. So happy for you that you enjoyed Dubai, you were there in the summer and that's when the sandstorms roll in. You were in a super touristy place Palm Jumeriah which is all man - made including the beach. If you go to Dubai again and have more time , try to check out some of the beautiful desert safaris ....the desert is gorgeous and relaxing. Visit Jumeriah where you can see the local Emiratis, go to the Souks in Deira ,go to the coffee houses and the eateries on the Jumeriah Beach/Kite Beach . Jumeriah Beach is a huge natural beach, pleasant calm waves called the Persian Gulf. BTW the Dubai Marina is all man-made as well. The desert and the Persian Gulf are the most natural beautiful places in Dubai. During Ramadan ( the time that you visited Dubai )some of the hotels serve 'Iftars" which are huge buffets when people break their fasts. Best wishes to you both in your travels!

I did not expect that there is such cheap hotel in Dubai, and a room of $50 has already satisfied me;
However, if it can be upgraded, I will also consider staying in the hotel for $400, it is very beautiful;

I am in Dubai often but live in Oman. I always go budget as I don't spend much time at the hotel - just somewhere to stay. Then there is more money left to spend on enjoying everything else that Dubai has to offer!

I'd add that travelers ought to be ready for higher priced food and beverages at luxury resorts. Something everyone should experience once in a while.

Wow, I disparaged Dubai in my last comment but that fancy hotel is so bomb!!!! Seems like it should be more$$$$. You are now officially SPOILED! Was blown away by custom robes,pics,fruit,etc plus champagne! VIP, baby! BTW, a sandstorm in Arabic is called a Haboub.We have them in the Ca desert in Palm Springs area too.I have set out from home and within minutes,the wind whips up,heavy palm fronds & big trash cans flying over the front of car! You have to pull over.Impossible to see.
$50/night lodging is rock solid if you treat your room only as a place where sleep and grab a coffee.

Its a wonderful place, one of my favorite places to stay is the Address in the Marina. such a great location and brilliant access to everywhere.
Yes, Dubai is a nice place. I’ve been four times. I stopped over Dubai in going to London. My favourite place in Dubai is Gold Souk. Never miss the place every time I’m in Dubai because I like jewelries shopping in Gold Souk. My husband kept on telling me to buy more jewelries I want. I so lucky. Have fun. Cheers.

The upgrade with your names and pictures was really sweet of them.
90% of my work is done at my phone (travel planning and booking, Instagram content creation, etc), that’s why “I’m always looking at my phone” lol Since we were going to a new country the day after we filmed this video I was probably searching for a good place to stay in our next destination or doing the check-in for our flight or maybe I was checking the visa and Covid rules etc 🙂
Hotels in Dubai are afforable. One can staty in a 4-star hotel in Dubai for slightly over $100+ but depending on the location. If one is looking at within a close proximity to the Burj Khalifa and the fountain, it will cost a couple of hundreds per night. First time to Dubai and I stayed at The Palace with direct view of the fountain and pool facing the Burj. Love the hotel.

Sharm El-Sheikh has beautiful resorts and castles with the best beaches and scuba diving.
I’ve stayed there at five palm it was so beautiful and I was only supposed to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying a week lol I’m definitely coming back
Hey Chris the trick with the copyright music is to either talk over it, keep it under 7 seconds per cut or speed up or slow down your video by a small enough amount that it’s not noticeable to a human but it throws the algorithm off.
I paid below 100 usd for five last year, weather was great

Lots of cool buildings there, but I don't think there's a more amazing building on the planet than the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore. That building is INSANE!!! Even more in person than in pics and video. Even at $400 a night that's place was a pretty impressive value. What a beautiful place. The best value of any hotel I've stayed in was Renaissance Hotel in Johar Bahru Malaysia. For $100 usd a night it was crazy. Not quite as nice as that place, but room was close and food options were even better. Also service was insane. You didn't open a door, push a button on an elevator or anything. They had to have nearly as many people on staff as there were guest...haha
