    The greatest voice for Chess commentary! Such dramatic narration, adding so much drama and excitement. GM King's commentary is something I love, if not more, as much as the matches themselves.

    Wished there would have been an Arbakov/Kasparov blitz shoutout. That would have been something since Valentin at that time was considered one of the greatest blitzers ever. No chance in both rapid tames though.

    though i hate seeing Vishi lose , but game from his opponent was super preparation.. its kind of Tal like.. one of the few games where a super GM is completely outprepared..

    no matter how sophisticated the attack, GM and former WC Daniel King will always refer to it as cheapo or crude. and I'm not only talking about this video.

    • @metterklume
      @metterklume 7 лет назад

      True. I take his use of 'cheapo' to mean, not a swindle, but a threat that even patzers like me can sort of see :)

      yes it is. Still sounds the same, but look up some photos of him in the 90s he had shoulder length hair!

    The "Rook in the corner is lost" is not true. He could interpose with Bb2 to extricate the rook at 5:20

    in 14:31 I was wondering if bishop takes on h3 was not the best, because the commentator said that first bishop on f4 threatning then sacrifice bishop no h3 and my move was stronger. my idea was bishop takes Bxh3 immediately if gh Bf4 threatning mate Kg2 Rxh3 ! Kxh3 and Rh8 + and if king goes to g2 Rh1 nice mate and I didnt calculate what if K goes on g4 but I checked with engine that position and it says Bxh3 with - 8 points for black !! and all moves is forced. so when you have that kind of position with combinations always calculate the most forcing moves not like the commentator did whitch I like him by the way. so its nice feeling to spotted the winning move. oh if king goes to g4 then Qd8 and there is no defence of Qg5 #.
    so why Kasparov didnt check with knight right away in 15:25 ? coz Knight takes, pawn takes and no h3, but d7 is best defend, cutting the line of black bishop. commentator said that white could simply move pawn on h3, but that isnt true.

      @iChess2  8 лет назад +1

      Yes you are right Bxh3 was much better than Bf4!

    Apparently kasparov has a IQ greater than Einstein did

    • @daveyork0
      @daveyork0 6 лет назад

      Albert's IQ must have been pretty high to never once call himself World Champion at the same time as losing to a fucking machine. Unlike some.

      Chess skills are only partially correlated to IQ.

      Matan Cohen's Studio Einstein’s influence was contributing to the creation of nuclear death machines, maybe in 100 years we won’t care about Kasparov, but in 500 years we’ll all most likely be dead partially because of Einstein.
