    Probably my favorite video ever. It’s a prime example of how we can get derailed each day on the farm. Wanting to power wash later involved plugging in the lift, but that was stuck so you had to get the skid steer. Everyone always asks me what I’m going to be doing today. My response is always “Would it matter? As soon as I walk out the door there’s something that I didn’t plan on that changes every part of the day.”

    We had forklifts get stuck on drains and low spots on the floor all the time. The only way to get them out was to push it with another one. It was always so funny to see a 10,000 pound machine get stuck on a little dip in the floor

      Buzzer going off. .... You are wrong oil based product is better

    • @thomaswilliams2253
      @thomaswilliams2253 4 года назад

      A careful look, nay even a cursory glance, at the bottle or the SDS for Permatex anti-seize shows that it uses paraffin, a petroleum byproduct as the binder/transport medium. So it is oil based, but the metals in anti seize are the “active” ingredients, not the binder.

    • @ryanmccafferty2561
      @ryanmccafferty2561 4 года назад

      As a commercial tire technician, you never want to use anti-seize on the studs and nuts, you are not reaching the clamping force required on the unit, 30w oil is used on hub piloted wheels and stud piloted wheels should have nothing on them.

    Looks good, the company I drive for has found that no never seize and drops of oil on threads are recommended now. It's for proper tourqe on lug nuts. It does not affect the nut coming back off. Plus its alot less mess. I'm not trying to tell you your wrong but through the studies done oil works better. This study was done by Alcoa the rim manufacturer. New subscriber and enjoy your content

      They better do another test in the snow belt . Because you ever had a stuck one it's not very fun. But you probably in shop with high end impacts I do side jobs on vehicles at home. But had my fair share of stuck lugs and other bolts. Some were from from idiots who think tight as they
      can get it is best. Even put it on the back of rims also afterr having one to many that were stuck. And dont put wd 40 on anything that has to move when its cold

    • @lylestatzer7112
      @lylestatzer7112 4 года назад

      @@magee16749 first off, you sound a little sarcastic, not a fan. Second, you said key word, side job. Guys like you without the proper equipment are why we cant have nice things. I said nothing of WD-40. They recommend drops of regular oil. If you had a proper tool or were well informed on such things instead of being a shade tree mechanic you would not have such problems. Your never seize may tighten and tourqe up to proper setting but after you walk away and put a few miles on a lug nut you better check the tourqe again, or end up like a Kenny Roger's song saying why did you leave me loose wheel
