    Most people are greenwashe with the “certified organic” label on these which isn’t important for this matter. Needs to come from non-contaminated (no metals) water, lab-tested just like you would want to do for sea moss because our waters are loaded. There are some companies that do artificially grow the moss in pools so always be conscious of the source but it’s the metal testing that is most important which the pool growers won’t do anyway ! Happy healing ❤️‍🩹

    I don’t think these really need lawsuits.
    Think about it - just like when you buy fish or anything else, they didn’t know more than you do.
    I think it’s important to work with the farmers, and not just be litigious for the sake of being litigious.
    Farmers don’t go out of their way to poison people, or to just not put any brakes on their controls.
    I think it’s important to have labels, but you have to understand hardly any farmer does anything just to be terrible, and they’re just trying to feed people. To give them what they need.

    • @gracemakeslace
      @gracemakeslace 10 месяцев назад +2

      I can't remember if hypo is the one that makes your thyroid go on overdrive or too slow. The one that I've struggled with is the one that makes it hard to gain weight, but I have worked with my doctor, VERY closely because we monitored my levels throughout this whole process over the years, And I managed to lock it in pretty well. I gained 40 lbs over the past few years lol. 😅 Last time I tested it was starting to get out of whack, but I was also slipping on my seaweed routine.
      Sooooo, it's definitely doable, but make sure to work with your doctor throughout the whole process. What got me on this path was my asking the active ingredients of the medication she wanted to put me on. It was a bunch of kinds of seaweed.

      @@monkey-yy8bk it's not consistent but about 6 months. Sometimes I would eat 4 of those snack packs a day, sometimes more, a WHOLE LOT more so much so that when I went into the Trader Joe's they knew exactly what I was there to buy. I had COVID last year and it destroyed my digestive system. I went from being able to eat everything to not being able to eat any dairy, any food with canola oil, processed food, just any food I couldn't digest without taking a handful of probiotics, betaine HCl, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, dandelion tea, kombucha, ginger, garlic, tumeric, cilantro. I came across seaweed snacks by accident and they didn't irritate my system and I didn't have to take any digestive supplement so I was eating them as basically a meal supplement. I cut them (seaweed snacks) out about 3 months ago. Because I started having strange health problems/symptoms. I never attributed it to seaweed. I thought it was just remnants of COVID (long covid). To resolve it I started only eating my previous diet of salads with only veggies and only a little chicken breast. No breads, no pasta, no rice, very few carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no seaweed. Then my symptoms went away. But then I went back to seaweed about 2 months ago. But I'm having similar health problems again now. I'm wondering if it's heavy metals.

    Truly aggravates me when these doctors give their pros and cons about things we eat. One day something is good for you, the next day, "studies" show it's bad. Life is just a risk in general. If you're living and breathing, every second is a risk. I say eat what you want, in moderation, and if it makes you happy, go for it. These days, many recalls are happening with foods because of simple carelessness in stores, restaurants and even the manufacturing plant of the product. This is not paradise. Again, if it makes you happy, go for it. We get no where having fear about every little thing. I would be more concerned about what's on the conveyor machine and human hands.
