As I was watching and still seeing BigHit cutting away when Taekook showed care of each other. I just firmed up in my belief they dud the right thing for their happiness to grow.
I think people misunderstand why ARMY is so devastated. We're not sad because they're taking a break, we're sad because they've been holding onto this pain for so long and suffering in silence. When I watched the dinner premiere, I thought I could keep it together, but when Namjoon started crying, I lost it. It was beautiful though, even if it was painful. You could feel the overwhelming amount of love in that room between the 7 of them, for each other and for us.
I'm so proud to be an ARMY right now, and I'm proud that they're finally taking a break. They deserve it. I'm excited to see what they've been working on individually too! When they come back together as BTS, it will be even more spectacular than before. The synergy will be irreplaceable. Just think: all of their creative energy restored and individual projects out --> an even better BTS that lasts for a long long time. Who wouldn't be excited for that?

Yesterday when I saw the dinner I felt quite bad for my beloved men, it hurt me a lot to see them cry like that, they have had to make so many sacrifices to move forward, and now it is perfectly logical that they want to realize their individual projects and enjoy some time for themselves, to make their lives and grow as human beings. As for Taehyung and Jungkook since 2021 they showed us what was going on with them and that special and unique relationship they have, they made us see that they were together and shared all the time, hobbies, trips and special dates alone, that to my way of thinking was preparing the fandom for whether they accept it or not they have a real relationship off camera, and off the ships. This makes me very happy, I don't believe in rumors or edited photos, I believe in what they show and tell us, which is already quite clear. I am looking forward to the new wonderful things that our 7 men are going to give us in their individual works and I know that they will come back happy and strengthened. Ahh and our Taekook more together than ever because as my beloved Jin said they will never be separated. Thanks for the video I loved it.
Was literally waiting for your video, yesterdays video was really devastating their crying faces hit every BTS fan hard. To be very frank, was very happy coz taekook were sitting side by side and when I see happy pill Jin, he was all sad hardly smiling or talking felt bad seeing such a happy goofy person like that and when Joon started crying it was very painful to watch him like that. The cry of every member was literally like a stab on the heart 😔.Though I'm new to BTS but I could feel sourness some tension between members since a long time, have mentioned my thoughts even in some comments. Everything happens for a reason, I wish the friendship between each member remains for a life time and hope taekook to end up together happily. What sourness and tension? I mean I can understand that living together for more than a decade can impact their life and personality differently
I personally felt that they were hiding something from a long time like their solo activities which we did not know before coz of this reason they were kinda sad this is what I mean by sourness and remember that Vlive with hopeminvkook and their lives are always like this unknowingly they utter few things and others try to cover it (tension) they were scared of spilling their inside talks like talking about Collab and solo concert these things are also mentioned in this video and these things will always continue even in future 😅. I noticed something different when they were being interviewed and while filming behind the scenes.. even more noticeably over the last 6 months. the only time they seemed truly happy was when they performed live . the kpop industry is really hard industry to be in . I'm glad they realised , talked and did something about it, for all thier sakes !! bts aren't just a group ... they are a family .bts and army are family ..! family stands toghther and stays toghther !!! for now we can enjoy thier new adventures .. till our purple ocean rises again with our Kings riding the wave 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
They have dreams and want to do them while they are young. Also the military is still undecided (as far as we know) so I think a lot of this decision relates to that. They need time to finish their mix tapes and we should be excited we're getting maybe 7 albums now. Their work deserves an album. They aren't going anywhere, we might just see them less but I'm comforted by the fact that Taekook are closer than ever. We may finally get out Taekook subunit on one of their albums

FINALLY, someone who actually has placed some of the onus on the dilemma with their enlistment commitments. I think most of this is related to that circumstance. I believe much of what we are seeing with BTS right now is due to that.
If we were to step into their shoes, it would be pretty simple to understand, that there is NO way they can make any plans as a full band for 2023 until they are 100% certain what's expected of Jin. Meaning what else is there for them to do but do some stuff on their own while it gets sorted it out....Its not like their government hasn't had a year to make that decision...
I can't believe stockholders are going so crazy over this situation.
I honestly think that's an excuse as everyone knew the probability of BTS needing to serve was very good. What did they expect of the band at that time? I personally think that's drop in price of their shares, for this reason, is ridiculous. (Regardless of how they choose to decide how to enlist - if enlistment is necessary BTS as we see it right now, will need to wait until their military commitments are complete. BTS has a personal stake in the company with stock of their own. I'm Doubtful they'd intentionally do anything to jeopardize the value of their shares.
RE: The South Korean government's decision - It's important for people to realize that this is not something BTS will or CAN directly come right out and ask for an answer.
Their culture's Political Etiquette is much too sensitive for them to come right out and say 'Hey, we have no clue what we can be doing next year because our government is not ready to make up their mind what we should be doing.' This is especially true with their being Diplomatic Envoys... They are in an exceedingly tricky situation. Imagine the pressure they are under. NO wonder RM was holding back tears.
I think that if I were them, I'd be losing it as of this last Fourth of June... six months before Jin's enlistment, and the date by which the government needed to make a decision for Jin to Not be enlisted. Now if they change their mind and make a ruling between now and then, in order for Jin to be included, they will need to make two precedents in order to allow him to not service come his birthday.
And if we think about it - That's about when things did start feeling... different with BTS. At least for me, I got that feeling. I could be on my own on that, but think if I felt it, then some other ARMYs may have as well.
And the Sh*ttiest thing about all of this, is that despite HYBE, RM, V, and JK coming out and clearly stating that they are not taking a hiatus, the New Media continue to publish new articles stating they are going on hiatus. Which in turn plays mind games with investors.
I am feeling a little heated about that...to state it nicely.

I think as Army's we owe them this much,to allow them to heal and give them time to just enjoy their lives not just as BTS but as young men in their twenties and experience life outside of BTS.They stood with us,gave us hope,renewed our will to live taught us to love ourselves and now its time for us as army's to give them the chance to also heal and find themselves.
This will be an interesting time. We will probably see military enlistment and relationship announcements. I hope they will all find happiness.

We still have Run Bts and Big Hit says there will be more projects together but the boys want to explore more on their own. JHope will be the first to perform solo and bring out new solo music, don't be sad we will get so much more to hear and see of them. The sacrifices these young men have made on the Armies behalf will probably never be fully known but I thank them from the bottom of my ❤️. My next comment will probably be controversial to some but I think KTH is the one who felt it the most. He is and always will be a different soul to the others. He has had restrictions on him from the very beginning (hidden member) and is only recently looking happy again after the separation era. He wants to show us exactly who he is and I for one can’t wait.
I loved that we found out that JK can be eccentric (we probably guessed as much), at least that’s what the subtitles said. He will undoubtedly shine in whatever he does.
I also found it quite telling the JM said he is not a solo act but part of a group. He does not have the same confidence as the others but with his talent there’s no doubt he could do whatever he wants to do.
RM definitely needed this break as he’s been so weighed down with responsibilities as leader. He was only 19 and it’s such a hard life starting out as an idol. I’m hoping BTS can make changes to the K-pop idol culture now everyone has seen the impact it has on their young life’s. They were given very little time to live as youngsters, they hardly saw their own families as they had so little time off. I’m happy they can now enjoy life and learn new things about themselves.
J-Hope is to be first with his new album and solo performance (he will light up the stage like no one else). It will be good for the others to see how it’s done.
Suga - nothing needs to be said except he no longer needs to just churn out music but can now fly high once again with his own concepts.
Jin will carry on being Jin. Playing games and working towards his own goals.
We don’t know what’s happening with the military service yet so we will have to wait and see but I did hear on Radio 1 news (in the UK) they clarified about it only being a temporary break so let’s keep everything crossed for when they come back as 7.
One more thing, let’s not forget they are still contracted to Hybe so everything they do still needs to meet their approval. We can only hope the company does not interfere too much.

Yeah,i feel like Taehyung really wants to show his own individuality and shine alone. Maybe he wants to explore other areas like acting... Or he has such a big social circle and a lot of friends... He said he wants to show another part of himself. What makes me really sad is that in this off period there will probably be relationship announcements... I've always believed that Tae loves no one like Jungkook (at least based on video evidence, how he stares at him and cannot take his eyes off him ever since their trainee days, and vice versa)... It would be a massive shock to me when the news of them dating a girl comes out. I will certainly lose my belief in the concept of Love if that happens.

Really my appreciation for them grew more after the diner party !And its OK to go in hiatus!It's something that I noticed every Army questioned and wished through the years,so now they have the chance, so all our support and blessing. I guess the hiatus is because Jin has to do military service. They told us BTS was 7 people. Since in the meantime, more people will be on their military service, we can assume that the break will last until the end of the entire action. During this time, they will continue their solo careers.
It was hard for them to communicate it and it was hard to say goodbye. For them, it is also a big change that they have to work through on their own

I think these two will always be together loving and supporting each other ❤. They are just to close, we wished them go out to eat or shopping, movie. They have sure themselves so much on their website to know how they feel. Posting the same time with songs and pictures and the red and blue couple strings. Not to mention the rings. Maybe this is just what they needed to be just them for awhile. Thank you for all you do and I want you to know how much I appreciate it. The last months they kept hinting that they are not so happy with hybe. And their contract will end in 2024 so what if chapter 3 is about them back together but with their own company , or bighit will leave hybe with bts. cause everything makes sense now. they sold their stocks, bang pd is not the hybe ceo anymore ect. also rm said he is hoping, that we will meet again next time "without rules"... imagine they have their own company where they can do what ever they want and this is music

Was that a hair flip our Taehyung did? LOL I love it!! They said they will be back and I believe them. They would never want to disappoint their Army. They have been there for us and now we will support them. After all these years of working hard they need a break big time! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 (7). Now what am I going to do on the computer for 4 hours every night? I feel the same way so many other Army feels. I need another new box of kleenex..😥 I read where someone claimed they would be gone for 2 years. I haven't heard any time line. Is that true that they have said 2 years? I just hope they have a good time and get well rested being safe and happy even though it breaks my heart. I will especially miss Taekook.
They didn't mention a specific timeline at the dinner party. Suga said "we should've done it at that time (after "ON") and we would've been able to come back by now." I'm guessing that timeline would've been 2/3 years. They might have that long a hiatus planned.

I agree with Momzilla about what SUGA said so it could be that. Also there's been opinions that this break might have to do with military service (rumors so idk) and that would be 2 years but they themselves never gave a timeline.

I cried watching the video but I am happy for them and I hate that they feel guilty for wanting to put themselves before the group. I never even thought of it that way. I want to make it short so what I really believe that they will come back as a group as more stronger than before and what they are doing now is what they actually needed as individuals. They need to reconstruct themselves as individuals to come back more united as a group and as they said they are a family and sometimes separations make relationship more stronger. I am Army Halmoni. It has broken my heart watching them sacrifice their childhoods, their lives, their hearts, their bodies, pouring everything into this wonderful loving accepting emotional haven they created for worldwide Armies. I too intertwined in their world & happily absorbed my fill for my needs from what they created LITERALLY from their blood, sweat & tears. Only old age will let them ever see the stark truth of what they sacrificed but they also know it is & was worth it. They have grown up together, they have loved, lived, worked, fought, shared everything 24/7. It is inevitable they must separate & they should so they can continue to grow. It is amazing they have been together this long & the great accomplishments they have achieved together convinces me this was their destiny & to make a universal difference overcoming all boundaries such as race religion sexism age etc. They must have intense feelings of sorrow pain & guilt
guilt & abandonment. Help our no longer babies be free & discover their own genuine authentic individualistic self they should be, whatever it is. Try not to add to their feelings of sadness, only encourage them to do what is due - it is time for them to be free. Not based on what Armies or any companies want. Thanks to this vid Barahe. BTS have been working so hard & KSJin wud soon be serving in the military by December. Aren't we glad that they're be given ample break to rewind, rejuvenate, explore other horizons & advance their careers at their own pace & plans... TAEHKOOK knows what they want & really WANT what they know that's good for them. They seem to have a balanced understanding between their careers & personal lives. Im just so happy with vLives cuz real TK domestic relationship surfaces. Exciting projects are in the works: ITSoop has Tae's Wooga, 4 eps & JK's collab wd CPuth. TAE es el único que no lloró 😳 ....pero sabemos que esto tenía que pasar algún día una separación y cada uno cogería su rumbo .....da mucha pena pero lo que no entiendo es que lancen canciones que tuvieran previsto concierto en septiembre tantas cosas y que para nosotros que no para ellos por qué seguro que esto ya lo sabían fue un jarro de agua fría para tod@s l@s seguidores de BTS ....pienso que tal vez deberían haberlo hecho se otra maneras pero también mandan los que están detrás de ellos que son lo que mandan y los chicos también están cansados a parte del trabajo de las normas a seguir .....tristemente repito algún día tenía que pasar pero jamás imaginé que fuera tan pronto ....quizás llevarse el grammy hubiera ayudado ? Genuinely cried watching this, happy everything is clarified. Only been an ARMY since Dynamite Dropped and been here ever since. Watching their silliness and relationship grow. Hope they get to fulfill their solo dreams and come then come back even stronger. These two however belong at least near one another their presence makes the other happy.

Of course, on one hand, it is sad. BTS has been together for a long time, and of course it's painful for them to admit they need a break - admitting that something isn't making you happy in the same way anymore is really hard, it's one of the hardest things humans have to go through. But on the other hand, I'm happy for them, that they were able to admit it, and I think, deep down, they know it's what's best for them, and they know they'll come out stronger.
I was personally feeling something like that as well. I love BTS so, so much, and I'll never stop supporting them, but something has been feeling off to me for a while. The news was sad to hear, but I could also tell it's something they needed to get off their chest, and in a way, it's made me be able to breathe again, too.
Anyway, I'll be here when they come back, and in the meantime, I'll support whatever they want to do. I really want to see them happy! 💜💜
