Actually paul Stanley explains in his biography that it took peter many attempts and recordings simply to get a usable track on the original recording to put on the album destroyer. I love peter as well . But he’s just not that talented. .

John I totally agree. When they came back and reunited then, the magic was definitely back and fans like you and myself knew that was the real deal. I have not bought anything since Psycho Circus and after that it would never be the same. My wife and I was listening to the Love Gun song's and we both knew all the songs. She grew up on the south side of town where we live and I on the north side. We both grew up listening to KISS.

This is the cheesiest thing they do on this tour, even with all of the Paul Stanley lip sync songs. Eric Singer dressed up as Peter Criss complete with the Peter Criss wig, pretending to play the piano and doing Peter's signature song. At the end they all come over and Gene puts his hand on his shoulder - how disingenuous. Have Paul bring out an acoustic and have Eric sing Hard Luck Woman instead if you must do a Peter Criss ballad.

What really really annoys me is that they(KISS),say it's for the fans and when the fans speak then we listen. Yea right? Eric Singer has been in KISS along time and it was him that suggested that Peter Criss join them on stage to sing at their convention before the MTV unplugged gig,and now unfortunately he is I think disrespecting Peter Criss and so are Messrs Simmons and Stanley. Regardless KISS are now a running joke,I've been a long standing fan since 1976 and I can honestly say that the circus has now run out of steam.

Weird that he ACTUALLY wrote it about another band mate's gf... for a "joke" from 70 - 72 but recorded in 76... you got me. All good. I stand corrected. But that still doesn't change the fact that I don't like hearing Eric sing the song.... but who cares what I think right... Eric has a couple kickass songs of his own I would rather hear any day live on stage. Same as I feel weird hearing Tommy do Shock me... Disgusting ! I started listening to Kiss in 1977 when I was six years old. I was a fan of every line up until 2000. Out of respect for the original members and fans I just can't bring myself to support this. I realize money, greed, and ego is involved and it's such a shame. To me the best Kiss will always be Ace, Paul, Gene and Peter. Haven't spent a dime on them since 2000.

Actually paul Stanley explains in his biography that it took peter many attempts and recordings simply to get a usable track on the original recording to put on the album destroyer. I love peter as well . But he’s just not that talented. .

John I totally agree. When they came back and reunited then, the magic was definitely back and fans like you and myself knew that was the real deal. I have not bought anything since Psycho Circus and after that it would never be the same. My wife and I was listening to the Love Gun song's and we both knew all the songs. She grew up on the south side of town where we live and I on the north side. We both grew up listening to KISS.

This is the cheesiest thing they do on this tour, even with all of the Paul Stanley lip sync songs. Eric Singer dressed up as Peter Criss complete with the Peter Criss wig, pretending to play the piano and doing Peter's signature song. At the end they all come over and Gene puts his hand on his shoulder - how disingenuous. Have Paul bring out an acoustic and have Eric sing Hard Luck Woman instead if you must do a Peter Criss ballad.
They should have Peter do this at the end , even without his makeup , it would stun the crowd

It's not that black & white. It is a Peter song which was written intimately for a girl he was with at the time which Gene & Paul hated but put on the B side with hesitation. Kiss don't play piano and violins... it's a Peter song... real life lyrics of what was real in his life at that particular point in time... to hear Eric impersonate Beth or shall I say "Beck" is phony baloney. I have no problem hearing Eric sing Black Diamond etc... THOSE are kiss songs I agree... but not Beth. SHE "Beck" whom peter wrote it for makes sense for Peter to sing it but not Eric. If you don't know what "your" talking about then you "shouldn't" what? Speak? Oki Doki... Upon further investigation you are correct about it's origin... I was going by memory from Gene's explanation of Beth from the Kiss Konfidential video where Gene says Peter wrote it about "Becky".... which sounded like it was a gf of his with no further explanation. Weird that he ACTUALLY wrote it about another band mate's gf... for a "joke" from 70 - 72 but recorded in 76... you got me. All good. I stand corrected. But that still doesn't change the fact that I don't like hearing Eric sing the song.... but who cares what I think right... Eric has a couple kickass songs of his own I would rather hear any day live on stage. Same as I feel weird hearing Tommy do Shock me... I don't care about the origin... it just doesn't sound right to be a copy cat impersonator when they have their own original songs.

Disgusting ! I started listening to Kiss in 1977 when I was six years old. I was a fan of every line up until 2000. Out of respect for the original members and fans I just can't bring myself to support this. I realize money, greed, and ego is involved and it's such a shame. To me the best Kiss will always be Ace, Paul, Gene and Peter. Haven't spent a dime on them since 2000.

Look at the big screen behind him. His hands stays in the same position pretty much the whole time. Saw another video where it was really obvious. If he played the pianonit would've been really cool. But more faking is just sad in my opinion.
