DIY Recessed Bathroom / Storage Shelving Cabinet

How to utilize unused space in your bathroom. Utilized the space behind the shower to install some shelves. This was originally the access area to work on the shower valve. I only used two screws to secure unit in place and attached trim to the shelf unit only. This would allow easy removal to access the valve for maintenance. Watch this build and install using a pocket jig and basic tools.

Nice work. I have many of the same tools as you but no garage! My wife and I just finished a full kitchen remodel. It finished good but we bought then cheap Home Depot cabinets and the bases were a struggle until I realize the missing 45 degree brackets the better cabinets have at the top also serve to keep the things square...look forward to your next project.

Thanks! My wife motivated me to be self taught. She said I can buy the tools needed to do the job as long as it saved us money. So when I see a tool I like, I find a project that needs that tool.
