I wish they’d beef up the Frostfire bolt animation. It just gets swapped by Pyro and looks mostly like a frostbolt. The OG animation was way better.
Should be the size of Chaos Bolt with a different look

What I want is for Pyro to leave behind a trail of smoke and little smoke circles - the more you're chaining the thicker the smoke gets.
Fire mage spells just lack visual weight even though the fire itself is pretty.

Most paladin spells are definitely better now. Chaos Bolt is clearly better. I like flame strike more too. Whirlwind/bladestorm for warriors is an upgrade. Ambush animation for rogues is great.
My biggest “Blizz you ruined this” is howling blast which was perfection from day 1 and now feels like a snowy slap rather than an actual blast of frozen power.
I am for sure playing a mage again. One of my main gripes was they got rid of Frostfire Bolt. One of my favorite spells.
Yeah, Gravity Lapse is when Kael puts all the heroes floating in the air.
In Heroes of the Storm Gravity Lapse is a stun too.
Love how Kael thematic sun-fury is.

Mage looks fun and thematic. I love it. Not sure what I'm playing yet but it's near the top of the list atm
outside of unholy dk, spriest, and templar pally, sunfury fire looks amazing for these sub classes. I am sure there are other great ones, but those are definitely the biggest winners I think
even if frostfire was swamp hero spec i would still play just because of the frostfire bolt honestly, the glorious return is magnificent

Edit: But the stun is part of the KT 'lore' so, I guess it makes sense being party of Sunfury
ngl fire actually looks sick for pvp, bet it will get nerfed to the ground in the first half of the S1 though.

not really since fire burst with mobility do not use fireball/frost bolt this much, maybe next season we will see more sunfury than frostfire cause ff mage need rng proc and hit right the meteor ( they need meteor and ice nova)

With how absolutely overtuned every class’ talents are in DF, they’d better start to tone down the ridiculous scaling if they plan on these new hero talents that are CLEARLY overturned as FUCK
