He's not going to get rent from those who have been evicted from every home they've ever lived in. If he had stopped to think about how they've gotten themselves in such a desperate situation where they now have no choice but to live in a dilapted RV on a dangerous street, he never would have gotten into such a risky business in the first place.

It’s because they use the money they make in bottles and cans from our trash to feed themselves instead of their starving kids. There is literally low income housing everywhere in Los Angeles, I have a friend who used to pay $27.00 a month for a 4 BR in Compton. She followed the rules didnt drink and didnt use drugs, there is no excuse to live like this.

I drive by here every day to work and drive by with my 12 year old son every weekend and tell him thats what drug use brings you then i drive by the burnt RV, makes him sad but i tell him thats drugs and thats the reality of it. My mom and dad soent almosty no time with us as kids, dad had a green card and my mom had nothing but still managed to get jobs through agencies and when they would find out she had no citizenship or green card she would find another agency and a job withing 2 weeks. Nobody should be homeless and nobody should be left out on the streets to help themselves with drug addiction but they should go get a job or 2 and move the f out even if its a 1 bedroom or a studio, no excuses, if most of you on here talking about "these people need help, our government this and that, they should help" you would all understand that 90% of these people dont want help, theyd rather be here, in the wild wild west.

I was there, I lived in the streets. I slept under bushes, on pallets next to dumpsters, in an abandoned car. Then I got tired of that life and got a job! I was 20 something, decided to prioritize my life and work! I'm 65 now married, a grandpa, and still living! If you want something bad enough, you work to get it!

Agreed. I've had crappy jobs, jobs that I've hated, and jobs that I felt lucky to have, but I've never had a job that I could truly say that I liked. In other words, I've never looked forward to the end of a weekend. But I've never once said to myself, "F this. I'll just get high on "medication" and demand that the government take care of me."
I'm 69 with bad back and knees and I work and pay my bills. I'm clean, have all my teeth, toss my trash out appropriately, don't do drugs or drink. Why are these people 1/3 my age willing to work as I do?

Whatever the reason, if people are in trouble we should help them, and homeless people face a whole host of troubles to do with food, shelter, warmth, social and psychological needs and medical care. They are not living easy off the back of hard workers, they are having a hard time. And it shouldn't matter whether they made bad mistakes in their past. if we have the power to help them, to improve the conditions of our communities and the people living in them, to provide food and shelter and to teach people how to make better decisions, then we should. Being moral isn't letting people deal with the consequences of their own decisions, it's helping people who are lost find their way.

When I was in high school, it was pretty obvious to me which kids were not going to make it in life. I get that it wasn't alway their fault- somtimes bad or no parents, mental illness, etc. These people are those kids but from someone else's high school. The reality is that life is harsh. Those who make it, and those who don't don't. It truly is survival to the fittest no matter how much the dems try to stop or slow it. We are an animal society at our core. Like it or not.

The people who only rely on handouts are about to get a rude awakening. Get yourself an ADDRESS so that you can fill out job applications and get a bank account. Things are about to get bad.

I work 8 hrs a day and live in my class B+ RV, got it painted in Mexico and it looks almost new.
I pay a storage parking space to keep it in a secured area, i got an Electric Bycicle and use it to move aroud, when the day ends i take it out of storage and sleep in it 5 miles outside the city.
that guy may have had good intentions... but how do you expect someone homeless to pay you? that's why their homeless. no court is going to evict them from a RV on the side of the road.

they are on benefits. the lady with kids cramming 14 to the RV is getting money for having those kids there. She could pay the 500 even without cramming the other adults in there just by having those kids.
I was homeless due to me accepting a job in freakin Kirby vacuum a horrible job that I regret only two weeks in after they persuaded to quit my security job that was ok and no money problems to go to worst sales job I sold 3 Kirby’s one week made over 7k only to get paid 550$ for all that I sold absolutely horrible I left never came back unfortunately I lost my place went to a shelter started all over again and I finally got a job I. Uber and it went well for me saving up money and fixed my credit and it took me two years to get back on my feet. But thing is if you can’t pay 500 a month then I don’t know what else to tell you

We had a Kirby salesman try to sell us a Kirby in the early 90's, he told us to keep it overnight to see if we liked it and he would pick it up the next day,he never came back, and we ended up with a free Kirby, but it broke when I accidentally sucked up a penny and it broke the motor blade, couldn't get it fixed on warranty for obvious reasons.

😂 I live an RV 4x4 i put a water Filtration system, Solar panels and 400Ah lithium lifepo4 batteries, and room for my Electric Bycicle, i sleep outside the city where there's less crime and work, i got a diesel heater & a 12 volt mini split A/C.
I'm in Arizona and can conceal carry so i feel safe.
