TYSM!!!! So simple! I was trying to use a store bought pattern but seemed so complicated! This is easy to follow & you explained everything perfectly!!! Thanks for sharing!
Great tutorial. Have to try this one. Thanks for taking the time to show us. Simple straight forward instructions. Have a terrific week and thanks again. 🤗
Just to clarify, can you possibly state exactly what the measurements should be after I cut it out? Somehow, I cut it twice as big as I needed it to be according to the video tutorial but I just wanted to check my measurements to be sure it ended up the correct size. Thanks!
The widest part (the body) should be 22 inches in width and the pocket/headrest at the top should be 12 inches in width. The entire piece of fabric should be 32 inches in length from the top of the pouch/headrest to the bottom of the body. This is what you should end up with after you’ve cut the fabric out (but before you’ve sewn it). You need 2 identical pieces for the front and back fabric and 2-4 identical pieces for whatever padding you choose (fusible fleece, batting, etc.). The number of layers for the padding (the inner layers) just depends on how padded you want it to be.
