Bach: Cello Suite No. 5 in C minor, BWV 1011 by Ailbhe McDonagh

The full Bach Cello Suite No. 5 in C minor, BWV 1011 performed by cellist Ailbhe McDonagh. Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach in the early 18th century sometime during the period 1717 to 1723, the music starts with a prelude. After that, every movement in the Suite is inspired by different types of Baroque dances.
Ailbhe recorded all six Cello Suites for video to accompany her album release "Bach: Complete Solo Cello Suites" which was released on the Steinway & Sons label in 2024.
