If your pets are disappearing, maybe you could sit them further away from items that grow(trees, pumpkins, etc). I know other passive mobs die that way. It’s similar to how players smother in snow and gravel.

The "tooth" that's floating in the Nether is a ghast, whose fireballs you can hit back at it if you punch it. If you hit the ghast with its own fireball you get the achievement "Return to sender".
A lot of your melons will not produce the melons, because they have no dirt block next to them. Melons cannot grow on sand, only dirt. Also, consider replacing the levers at the start of each track with buttons instead. Buttons only activate redstone when you press them, so you won't have a repeat of the minecarts racing back.
With some practice and maybe watching a tutorial (if that is the direction they want to go) they could build an automatic minecart dispenser/retrieval system. Much more eloquent and less chaotic.. unless that chaos is what they want.. in which case this is already perfect lol
Noo don't say that! This series should first and foremost be about Drew enjoying Minecraft in his own way and he is having a blast fooling around with Minik. I do think that they can work on focussing more on Drew, letting him explore stuff first and so on.

I liked watching that more as well, but I think it's still entertaining this way and if Drew is enjoying the game more this way, I'm fine with it. The beauty of Minecraft is that there are so many ways to play it, there is no right or wrong way. Of course people will always have preferences, but saying they ruined the entire series is pretty harsh.
Do not use full blocks, use wall blocks and half slabs on the bottom of the block height to keep MOBs from spawning. Those firing at you are ghasts, YOU ARE STILL SUCH A NOOB For long runs in the nether build packed ice rails.

If you jump while running along a two-block high corridor you will travel much faster.
10:16 You need to saddle pigs😉 Pigs are the ideal mode of transport in the nether.

In the nether the bow is your best friend. if you enchanted it you will need only one arrow. You can also fish for such a enchanted bow
