@10:15 If you get close to the target you should adjust distance not the wing span. that's why u didnt hit the target. u should keep adjust the range value and fit the end of the wing at the outside tip of the diamond.

Nightmode fixes range on 150 yards for close combat, input range from player is being ignored

Unfortunately I newer played War Thunder.
I did watched few videos and it is really ok game.
I didn´t know that this gunsight is not implemented in that game,

@@newtneto But we can't control the wingspan, mode or/and distance.
Nice, but i use it a bit different, my convergence is normaly 200 or 300 meters, thats 220 and 330 yards. I set this range and dont do much adjustment after, instead i try to move my plane to the correct distance to get the most out of ly convergense and 20mm ammo. But if you want to adjust, its enough to get his wings inside your gyro touching the diamonds on each side, then you know your in correct range, i guess this wil be much more effective when you are basicly spraying a shotgun of 6x0.50cals or 8x0.50cals in the american planes.
higaluto I think that you are apsolutly in right. There is more than one way to use it correctly. I couldn't cover all ways and show all examles of how to use it because the video would be too long. My gues is that in real life every pilot use it litlle bit on his own particular way.
