I know exactly what you mean! I met Larry Carlton once and he was a very sweet down earth human being and made me feel very comfortable and it was a very memorable experience. There’s nothing any worse than meeting a hero and having them shit all over you with some smart ass remark or something so I really appreciate the guys who take the time to make an impression.

He's one of the few rock stars who doesn't sound all "Spinal Tap" in interviews. He's actually interesting to listen to.
