I would like to congratulate Scott and members of Thin Lizzy on the many concerts they gave the fans over the last few years and wish the new band Black Star Riders success with the recording of the new album.
I'm so glad that Lynott has been officially recognised with an award like this, and even happier to learn that he's been recognised with other awards too. RIP the man, long live the music!!

Love all the lizzy axemen -from eric bell to midge ure to Sykes ...& all in between -but i must say ...Mr gorham has been the biggest influence on my playing -so - My tip of the hat 2nd best era :Eric bell - 1st : Robbo and scott . Its a bit sad ....when you say thin lizzy people go "boys are back " ....so much more to em than that ....i love this band -like an old friend . PS: scott : Get your arse to australia !!!!!
Man o man do people love cut down everything they see, pretty easy from your living room right? Scott Gorham and the rest of Thin Lizzy put the goods out through pure rock-n-roll sweat and your worried about line-ups? Lizzy is a REAL band and always will be. Cheers, to the brothers.

@Fangalatic He probably was referring to the bands excesses...some people remember what they did when they were smashed, some don't (you get me?). I saw that classic line-up in '77 in NYC (Paladium)...this after aborted attempts due to Phil's hepatitis and Robbo punching walls cancelling succesive tours (think, they were to open for Rainbow in Asbury Park...didn't know they weren't going to show, and we ended up with Henry Gross (who?)...How fantastic a double bill that would have been.

Gorham is underrated. I could watch interviews with him all day. In fact, I have been watching interviews with him all day. A very cool guy.
