  • A fragment of a video I found on the Net (uploaded by Andrew Schmidt), I processed the audio to hear everything better, as it was from an old VHS. It features Buddy Emmons in a certain Steel Guitar Meeting and he explains his copedent at that time and also his tuning procedure. I've put it up here to put this (historically) important information, that is clearly explained by one of the all-time greats, available to all. No copyright infringement intended.

The master of pedal steels. His tone and playing are what most players shoot for. Buddy was incredible.

Few will ever match his harmonic understanding, regardless of instrument.
