his origin story is he comes across old welding equipment and it sticks to his face and then he learn there was actually more than 1 dog welder and the equipment is passed down from generation to generation, but he doesn’t actually wanna do it he hates it and feels really bad about it but he has an unexplainable “itch" and at some point he even we did two stars together. So in conclusion he isn’t a piece of garbage just a really unlucky
