Thank you for this! I am brand new to crocheting (less than a month). The instructions were so easy to follow. I have made about a dozen so far. The repetition is helping me really learn the skills. The first one took me an embarassingly long time, but now I can make one in about 30 minutes. They will make great Christmas gifts!

I LOVE this ornament and this pattern. I made mine out of the natural color of Sugar 'n Cream because I love working with cotton, so I made a few adjustments, and it worked out perfectly. The pattern is so easy to adjust. Thank you for the amazing tutorial. :)

What a fun project! I now understand why there is not one skein of Bernat Maker yarn, in these colors, available anywhere on the planet! Everyone will be making them! I used Bernat velvet and my small ornament came out perfect! There are gold topped ornaments on Amazon…in case spray painting them isn’t possible for someone.

Great tutorial, thank you. The yarns you chose are beautiful! I live in Scotland so can’t get the same yarns without spending a fortune on postage costs, so hope to find something equally as beautiful. I always make Christmas ornaments to add one to each person’s gift. Normally I choose one design to make but I have found a few this year that would be great for specific folks thatI think I am going to make individual ones this year as well as making a few for my own tree. This has been such beautiful one, thank you! 💖

FYI- Bernat Maker has been discontinued and is difficult to find in desired colors!

Thank you, but it hasn't been discontinued, it's just out of stock in some colors. They rebranded this year, and will be restocking. It's a popular yarn and sells out often.

@SimplyMadebyErin Wow- I read it on their website. Maybe they were just referring to a particular color instead?

I have the pattern for this the only problem I have is you go to fast on the start of the ball. I need you to slow down on the start. Please

Hi there and thank you for following along! It's a magic circle, you can try slowing down the video at the bottom of the screen, or look up magic circle or ring on RUclips.
