      I use the dolly forward and backwards with the subject centered & balanced on a wide lens all the time! It's my love for Wes Anderson that drives that one!

    WE have been trying the gimbal ' dolly in and dolly out' and slide ways shots too often and love them in the videos. We don't often use the rotate shots too often. We love Matti and Peter

    Good tutorial. I liked the last combination with the truck best. Looked great and shows you can combine a lot of skills in a single shot. I would think you and Peter could afford pants without holes in the knees by now :)

    My favorite gimbal-move is a tilt-down into a dolly-in. (usually starting at the sky, going down and than dollying in to the face of a character). Pretty much allways works for me.

    There´s one more tip you should add hehee. It is not related with gimbals but it is with filmmaking. SLOW MOTION. Almost everything will look tons better in slow mo.

    Ya man... I got the long arm and it helps. You need to play with the motor for the shots. When you flip the camera it almost feels like it's taking a load of the one motor and all on to the other. So depending on the weight of the camera you need to adjust for certain shots

    Matti, love your videos-they’ve helped me grow so much this year as a videographer. Do you have any tips on how you travel with your gimbal? Do you just throw them in their respective cases? Or is there an easy way to pack them without having to unbalance the arms?

    Great tips! I was surprised you did this after raving about your glidecam so much. I think glidecams had their day in the sun, but it's a gimbal world now.

    The follow shot with Peters truck was really cool. And how you got into the truck without us knowing was very cool... For a second I thought Peter drove off with you hanging out of his window!!! 😀😉
