I love the Chronicler's company. Just sad that, unlike Takua himself, they never became Toa. If the Toa Metru were anything to go by, they were the most fitting to assume the role.
@@jonmartin444 nah that was Jaller, Hali, Hewkii, Nuparu, Matoro, and Kongu. They became the Inika, then the Toa Mahri Though after Hali became a toa Kopeke became the Chronicler and still is.

Back then I saw that melody as the theme song for Bionicle as a whole because it seemed the most memorable. And it also was heard in the second game.
This and Mata Nui's "oh-wooooo" choral chant thing.
Pretty sure that after the first episode, all the music from year one was just repurposed for year two.
to me its more like the theme of the Matoran's life on the island of Mata Nui, and perhaps specifically Takua's personality as an island wanderer

There's something so innocent about this soundtrack, it really fits the Matoran as whole, I think.
