So. You have surprised us again, Chronicler. We feared your courage led you to a final adventure. But it seems you may have many more in the future. You seem afraid, I know what you saw in that cave. Our Prophesies said the Makuta's defeat would end our troubles. But the Prophesies have changed. Something yet darker looms ahead of us. But for now, put these thoughts from your mind. There are many reasons for the people of Mata Nui to rejoice! When we first met, and you found my mask - and my Firestaff - and indeed fulfilled requests for all the Turaga - you were thought to be an outcast. No Matoran travels from village to village, having adventures. The people of Ta-Koro did not trust you and feared your adventurous ways. They were certain it would bring us ill luck. But you have proven us all wrong, Takua. You stand like the Toa among Mata Nui's greatest heroes. Come! Let us leave this windy beach and return to the light and heat of Ta-Koro. Many friends await you there. ~ Vakama
It's been 22 years now. You been on a long journey Chronicler. Long indeed. Makuta is defeated, the matoran live in peace at there new home, and mata nui is at rest. Your destiny is complete at long last.
Here’s me, a 25 year old man who lived through the entire bionicle experience and loved it all, getting teary eyed from a game he played and loved so long ago. :D
Bionicle was really something special. They didn’t need to go this hard with lore and keep it consistent. From age 6 to 16, I watched the story unfold in real-time, and it was just so great. I’m understating my sentimental feelings because I don’t know how to describe them. Just… friggin Bionicle man
It's interesting to see people's stories about bionicle, I had only discovered it after it was many years over. Seeing people reminiscing over times before I was brought into existence. It feels like I'm comming back and learning about an ancient civilization, uncovering their tale. And what a wonderful tale it is.
Takua’s story remains one of the most compelling BIONICLE ever told. From a Ta-Matoran pariah with a funny colour scheme, not knowing who he was or his place in the world unlike the other Matoran, he becomes one of the most famous and revered heroes of his universe.
@@ManLikeTaZK1 I mean, yeah, but we didn’t even know what that was until years later. As far as anyone and everyone was concerned back in the early 2000s, including the character himself, Takua was indeed Ta-Matoran.
I remember the first time I heard this music and saw this scene...and I cried, I was too young to know why I cried at something so simple. I had to have been around 8 or 9 but that was the first time I felt moved emotionally...and today, this song still makes me cry. Still never knew why...
Even if we don't end up having a G3 all I can hope for is a spiritual successor that might be able to tell the tales as Bionicle did. In the meantime it's up to us to do that.
Might i introduce you to Crainy's new bionicle game? Quest for Mata Nui: ruclips.net/video/e2ggASWkA2c/видео.html&ab_channel=Bionicle%3AQuestforMataNui
Bionicle is my religion. The world would be a much better place if people followed the principles taught in Bionicle. I've never anywhere seen the perfect equation of life. Life = Unity+Duty+Destiny Unity with Oneself and Unity with Others Duty to Oneself and the Duty to the Society and other living things And thus our Destinies be brilliantly shining. And music like this... 😭😭😭😭 This is truly my salvation.
I thought about this game today after seeing a Bionicle meme, and am overjoyed that this song is on RUclips! Brings back so much nostalgia, figuring out how to beat this game on the early days of the internet. And then when I finally made it to this scene, I kept it up just listening to this music on repeat :)
0:00 - 0:45 When you wake up in a mysterious island village & you're the only person wondering: ''what is this place?'' *then you realize you're in the Bionicle universe.*
Even if bionicle is gone possibly forever we can still keep it alive by ourselves so that means we can still make a bionicle storyline for the fans by the fans. I have became fascinated with bionicle as a whole and I want the fans to make a storyline they want as a whole together. but we must put our differences aside like the toa. but for a different reason. to have the story we always wanted
Christian Hicks, The Shadow lord I loved Bionicle for its rather elaborate storyline, and there was plenty about the universe that was left a mystery, so we can start there.
Ah I just built the new Tahu and Takua listening to the playlist for MNOG. Legit perfect timing just finished up and admiring it while listening to this closer ahh I love bonkle sm.
The saddest thing is that I was never able to catch that great time when the sets came out, and people did not regret the closure of the series. I was born in 2009, when the series closed, it was the greatest breakthrough, and in g2 it became a big failure, I really want to buy sets for myself, and plunge into a time when people who are now twenty years old were children asking their parents to buy them a set with some toa, it's sad that I didn't do any of this I found the same stickers and chips from Cheetos with bionicle, polybags at McDonald's. But I will catch up, even though I will spend a lot of money. This melody gives you the creeps, it's so pleasant and at the same time sad to listen to this melody...
so beautiful and mysterious, you immediately imagine this island, and all its inhabitants, the turbulent life of the matorons and those Toa. But I don't really like the continuation, it would be cooler to listen to this pleasant hum for all five minutes, and enjoy it by creating images in my head with my eyes closed
Never too old to appreciate this universe
It doesn't hurt to appreciate ours either, and to make it better
Best RUclips comment evar! =)

It isn't just a toy line. It's an experience....
I hardly remember anything from my childhood other than Bionicle, lol! 🤣 So yes, it's more than a toy line.
It's an actual mythology.

Honestly, sitting here 18 years later...this music still brings a tear to my eye.
TBH this one can choke me up too. I don't know why. It seems happy, yet sad...but happy.

give it 6 to 10 years at some pint a new nostalgia wave hits and bam new shit for lego to sell
Red Star Games has what your looking for then. As well as that they are selling masks and weapons that are great!
Christian Hicks so...what happened to the fan storyline?
Man I really wish someone would re-orchestrate this music or something because it's so good but the 2001 flash sound quality is just awful.

By organizing and expanding the old lore instead of diving into the new garbage the LEGO writers came up with.
