Mark, thank you so much for taking the time to explain Jack’s basement issues, the farm machinery and the process of maple syrup making. I love how much more engaging Mark is. I may be wrong, and I apologize if I am, but I felt Mark was not too happy in the early days of your channel being a more introverted type of guy. Now, I really look forward to listening to his farming wisdom as well as what he shares regarding your part of the province and its history or current events. Thank you Mark for sharing your life and family, especially your wife, with the rest of us who love to support Sandi.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. I used to think Mark was kind of a prude (sorry Mark, keep reading, lol), but now he's just awesome!! The list year or so he's just amazing. Such a great guy. I mean, I don't have to live with him, lol, but he seems much more personable now. 👍💪😊
My heart goes out to Jack! I saw the video of when he bought the house and you guys checked it out. I have 22 year old Twins and I pray they don’t have to experience this because it’s just down right not fair. Love that you all came together to help him❤ I know your farm life keeps you so busy. Family rules!
I think it’s an excellent learning experience for a new homeowner. Jack is so fortunate to have parents that are great teachers. These skills need to be taught to all young adults.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Oh Brock Family THANK YOU for being a part of our family. I tried to send a picture Stacy and I are in our 60’s…he’s a city boy and I am a country girl BUT a third member of our family is a dedicated watcher too. Pippi is our 90# Berniedoodle. She races in as soon as she hears you on the teley parks right front and center watching intently. I wanted to show you how much she loves you all too❤❤Thanks for inviting us into your home 🥰
Herbal tea is a GREAT way to get fluids.... Plenty of people can't stand water. Tea is just fancy water 😊... Maybe some antioxidants which is a plus.... That dang mastitis!!! She's in good hands. Sandi, you're the best care giver...❤
Adulting is very hard! Jack is lucky to have Mom and Dad to help him. On the other hand I have seen videos where you needed Jack to help with harvest and he was there. That’s just a wonderful family unit!❤ Keep on doing what you are doing, you are getting it right and over a million people think so. 👍🏻😊👍🏻
The weather has been crazy everywhere this year. You and Mark are wonderful parents, even with all of your work, you are still able to help Jack. Yes adulting is hard. Thanks for sharing your life with us, never miss a video. ❤
I don't comment often, but I just want you to know how comforting it is, as a Christian, to watch the way you love and care for your sheep. The Bible tells us to look to a good shepherd to see how He cares for us (the sheep of His pasture). Very reassuring to watch the way you love them and know that's how He loves us, his recalcitrant sheep.
With spring forecast early, I do hope the ground will hold that water and we don't see a two month drought. Hoping that ewe can stay up everyone is great. Jack is fortunate to have such supportive and knowledgeable parents. He will learn a lot owning that first home.
It's been great to see some more of Mark and what's going on with life and the farming side of the business, especially since it seems he has no way to post videos anyway if Jess has appropriated his cameras! 😂 All the best to Jack with the reno work in the basement - and the awesome support he's getting from the rest of the Brock clan. Big hugs to all the Brocks and Carissa from here in Summerville, SC.💞🐑🚜🌞
Sandy is there to save the day agian. It amazes me how much she cares about her sheep. If I were going to be on a farm that was going to use me as meat i would want to be on this farm because they are well taken care of and being raised by someone who generally cares. This is the way farming should be. Human as possible. People need to eat and no matter what they're are going to be people out there who eat meat so if they're are going to be people farming and providing meat and food for people at least do it with heart and care.
I am very happy to see you pop up today. Piper, I thought for sure she was going to get caught between those two knuckleheads ramming into each other. 😅 your baby with the eye injury and the ladies with mastitis will be in my prayers. I love how you and Mark bounce ideas off of each other and work well together.
I watch every video you post and after all the ones I have seen, I am still amazed at how hard you both work and how well you work together at tough tasks! You are an inspiring couple and I love your channel!! The sheep work is educational for this city girl! I appreciate all that you share with us! The first thing I do each morning is check for your video!! I am hooked!
Sandi Brock, you are so beautiful in every way. I fell in love with your channel because of you and your family. I can’t read comments that criticize you in any way. You have shown me what a loving family is and I respect you so much. I didn’t get that as a child. You are amazing! Through your joy and sadness, you inspire me. Thank you! ❤
Sandy, l watch every video you make even when I live in the city and don’t have a farm. It helps me deal with all my health problems. I have been a subscriber since you had about 25k subscribers. Thank you and God bless you.
Same. It's been somehow so wonderful to watch her and the life around her. Watching her grow has been such a blessing even when I can't do much. Thank you for your comment. Best of luck! 🍀 ☘️ 🍀 ☘️ 🍀
Like how you figured out how to do the treatment on that ram. Smart! Then the thought from the rams viewpoint--by day three--Here we go again. Telling you, she's up to something.
I rarely comment, but I want you to know I look forward to your videos. I own my business and work from home, on top of starting a remodel of my dad's cabin built in 90s. I appreciate your videos, they're inspiring, fun, and you showing the good/bad of life, helps me remember, no life is perfect. Thank you for your uploads.
Sandi you are so special! I just felt you really needed to be reminded of that cuz its the absolute truth! I’ve watched you for so many years and may have not said a lot but have always seen your authenticity and very much appreciate you! All my love sweetie ❤❤❤
Sandi, you and Mark are great parents and true example of family values in action. Your kids come home to help and you don't think twice about helping them. Such love comes through the screen. 😄👍💖💖💖💖
You're so right! Jack KNEW his parents would be there when they could help him. His Dad shared his knowledge along the way so that he had both a good work ethic and knowledge. They are an amazing family.
I'd call Homes on homes. LOL. also cracks in foundation need to be fixed, we had this issue and it wasn't super expensive. We called professionals and it was well worth it. Herbal is good as water! I can't drink water either. It takes funny to me . I miss the water of my childhood when we could drink right out of the tap.
Sandi, you’re a lovely woman no matter what that person wrote you. Good grief She needs to learn to build up other women not berate them. If you could see my hair today , you’d chuckle But I do me and to heck with what others think. Love ya , girlie. You amaze me with all that you do. And your family, too. I’m sure some jobs are difficult but perseverance is the Brock’s motto !!!❤❤❤❤
One of the most beautiful and yet most terrifying sites I’ve ever seen is to look out and see ice on all the trees, the sun making the trees sparkling. Then realize I have to drive and the roads are also covered in all that ice. I don’t mind driving in snow, but that ice. UCK.
Surely I'm not the only one who fervently checks on a daily and sometimes hourly basis for the next instalment of the Brock family. Hopefully you'll get to visit Cammie et al during your visit 😉. Thanks for making my day and can't wait for lambing!
Yay for mamma getting on her feet, eating and drinking! I know that was a releif! I hope the ram's eye gets better and he doesn't lose his vision. Staying tuned for that outcome! Poor Jack, hopefully the basement issue was a once in a lifetime crazy weather issue and things will be alright going forward.
Mmm maple syrup. We have SPARKLY maple syrup - it’s full of edible glitter - and my father-in-law took it back to Australia for the very young nibblings… and apparently I’m not allowed to back in Australia unless I am bringing sparkly maple syrup for them. They were AMAZED by their glittery pancakes. 😂
@@mljs9245 It''s full of glitter! It was a special edition release by Runamok Maple, a Vermont maple house. It sold so well and demand was - and is - so high, that they converted it to a year-round product, and now they do limited releases with different labels for different seasons. Maple syrup is great. Maple syrup with glitter? THE GREATEST. Toddler and Gen X approved. 😂
I nominate Sandy Brock as “role model for all women”. There seems to be nothing you can’t do! From demo to construction, from lambing to death in the life of sheep, from watching your children fly from your nest, to helping them through cancer treatments and adult life, from icy cold morning chores to keeping sheep cool when it’s hot. For about 4 years I have watched your channel. I have learned so much- but not enough to think I can do the work you do. You bring heart to the hard work; and your delight is obvious when you baby-talk those sheep, bring unruly puppies in to learn, and love on those Golden Girls. Keep it up! Don’t listen to the haters. You are doing what you love ❤️.
Somebody suggested having at least 1 gate with wheels on 1 end. That would help alleviate the load on Sandi when she's on concrete, but not on the straw bedding. I still think it's worth a trial. Worried about repeated strain on Sandi's back 💕💕
I am a third generation farmer and Mark is correct. Things don’t work correctly without certain words being said. 😂 I don’t know how many times, growing up, I heard “cover your ears.” Now I say that too my grandchildren. 😂
I fell in love with those Ravensberg Puzzles you and Jess were doing. I googled them. They are available online from the company and Amazon. Theres also a US branch. Some of the sweetest ones are only available in stores - makes sense. Ill take what I can get. Five puzzles with over 7000 pieces are headed this way. Im retired and spend my time on crosswords, reading, sheep videos, crocheting. Wish me luck. PS - I noticed a difference in you + Mark together. Empty nest is agreeing with you! 😉
I, too, enjoy the Ravensberger puzzles. A friend of mine and I saw one on display that was over 40,000 pieces. It was 22 feet long and 6 feet high! Several Disney images were featured. It was over $500 so we just enjoyed looking at it.
I bet you had some muscles you didn’t know you had after helping Jack. Lots of up and down stairs, lifting and carrying and walking. Glad you are in good shape from your daily activities. 😊😊
❤ to you all. From a DIY homeowner of an old home. The directions of gutters and downspouts far enough away from the house help and the dirt grade around the house helps direct water away too. Clay dirt around a house is always better than organic material or stone. Just our experience. Not an expert here just a loyal viewer.😂
Sandi, a lot of different activities going on, a sick lamb, Jacks home needed work done on it. Watching the rams headbutt each other, make me go “ouch” stay safe everybody, love from Mike. ❤
We are having amazing Feb. weather in Ontario. Here in Ottawa were going up to +6 this week so our snow will be dramatically going. Good luck at Jacks.
Did you get your hair done? It looks so good. Then again it always does, I finally let my hair go grey and I’m actually loving it and I’m only 47. Poor Jack and mama sheep. What a tough time right now.
If you wanna do something fun with your grey, see if it’ll take a temporary color. I have blonde hair and silver hair, and if I leave in purple toner for 2-3x the normal length, I end up with bright and lavender hair. It’s a lot of fun!
@khills I have a 4" wide band of pure white hair across the whole front, ear-to-ear. I've been tempted to go purple. How long does the lavender stay visible for you (in case I'm not enamored with it)? I wanted to go teal to match my 20 year old sports car, but couldn't find any toners. Now I don't have the Toyota Supra Turbo (lol for a short, wide 74 year old), so it's a moot point now. My eyes are green like Sandi's, but I've decided that hazel/green hair might just look moldy,😮 so lavender it is. 💜 😂
@@janisedenton4242 I have green eyes, too - the lavender looks amazing! I also use purple mascara by L’Oreal to really emphasize the color and make my eyes pop. As for the color, I use the Amika bust your brass line of products: shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioning mask. I put down the color by using the deep conditioning mask on clean set hair and I leave it for 20-30 minutes, rinse out with colder water, and often use something like their one minute shine mask on top of it. To maintain the color, I use the shampoo and conditioner - although I have been considering trying the color drops they have, which allow you to turn any product in their line into toning products - and every few weeks do another deep conditioning with the mask to reset the color (and soften the more wiry silver hair). Depending on how grey someone’s hair is, they might need to use the mask more than once to really set the shade. I’m a natural blonde and my hair went silver, so I’m definitely lucky - pure white, you might want to try the mask for just 10 minutes! To remove the color, any clarifying shampoo should work. I use the Amika reset line, from scalp cleanser to shampoo and conditioner every six months or so just to really deep clean everything, and it’s always a shock to get out of the shower and see much brighter blonde hair and SILVER everywhere. 😂 Oh, and I should note that it will slightly darken any non-silver hair. I decided a very natural purple was worth being a “dirty dishwater blonde.” 😊 And I do get TONNES of compliments every time I go out; I’ve actually thought of putting the instructions on small cards to hand out. 😂 I Who knew, all those years ago, lil ol’ ladies with their blue- tinted hair were just really early style mavens? 😉
I think it is cool how you and Mark really know each other and how great you get along. It good to have sense of humors like yours. That is a challenge to get Jack's house torn apart and redone right. Love watching all the sheep. Those black sheep fighting was getting intense. Piper almost got it. Thank you Sandi and Mark for another great vlog.
Jack is lucky to have parents with mad “fix it” skills. Being a homeowner (especially with an older home) is a learning experience. But in the long run often a better investment. You and Mark are amazing parents.
Sandi isn’t that strange/impressive that Piper didn’t want the boys fighting. I mean she went right after the aggressor. She didn’t back up or down. I think she is paying attention to Kinsey. I was proud of her. You’re so awesome the way you take care of your flock. Always busy and don’t even hesitate when something needs to be fixed.
Sandi, your work ethic continues to amaze me! Also, you have multitasking down to a fine art! 😊
I was counting down the minutes to join Sandi and the Golden Girls again tonight! 🥳
Hahaha 😂 you had me at “lipstick on a pig” 😂 x
I couldn’t agree more!
Amen!
Piper is so funny. She thinks she’s just as big and bad as a pen full of rams. You go Super P
Piper, tough as a lead pipe 😂
Beagles have no brains! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love how Mark says "tell them why" and then he proceeds to talk over you. He's so funny!
I love the relationship dynamics that Sandi and Mark have. It's it very well rounded and why it works.
As soon as the notice for your videos pops up I come to watch. Thank for the day brightened.
Every time I see Piper trying to herd the sheep with Kinsey I keep thinking Piper wants to herd sheep when she grows up
With spring forecast early, I do hope the ground will hold that water and we don't see a two month drought.
People need to eat and no matter what they're are going to be people out there who eat meat so if they're are going to be people farming and providing meat and food for people at least do it with heart and care.
we had water in the basement after redoing it, had to put in drainage tiles and then redo it again so I feel Jack's pain.
Nice to see Jack even though he is having issues! He will be happy knowing he's redoing things the right way!!
When those Rams butted heads, my head hurt
Good th8ng those rams are polled! You could still hear the KLONK when they butted heads!
Thank you! ❤
I love when Mark talks in your channel. He is so knowledgeable and confident when he does.
Look at Piper growing up and becoming a herding dog! And even breaks up the boys fight! You go Piper!❤
Like how you figured out how to do the treatment on that ram. Smart! Then the thought from the rams viewpoint--by day three--Here we go again. Telling you, she's up to something.
🤣🤣LMAO I was just thinking they should get a little treat to reinforce going thru handling system. Grain? 💕💕
Thank Goodness Jack has awesome Parents that are willing and able to help.
Definitely, call Mike Holmes!
Same!! My #1 favorite RUclipsrs of all time! 💪🔥👍😊🔊
Poor Jack. My dad always said, once you buy a property you never stop paying out. Feel your pain mate
What is sparkly maple syrup? The only thing I could think of was some that has crystallized. 🤔🤷♀️
Hi, Sandi ! Thank you for being you & sharing who you are with us. ❤🎉😊 God bless you & your family!❤😊
Maple syrup with peanut butter...Heavenly Goo.....childhood memory.
Mixed with peanut butter, mmm. And over vanilla ice cream the best.
I'll have to try that. Sounds yummy!
Nice haiku

Somebody suggested having at least 1 gate with wheels on 1 end. That would help alleviate the load on Sandi when she's on concrete, but not on the straw bedding. I still think it's worth a trial. Worried about repeated strain on Sandi's back 💕💕
Me too!
I am a third generation farmer and Mark is correct. Things don’t work correctly without certain words being said. 😂 I don’t know how many times, growing up, I heard “cover your ears.” Now I say that too my grandchildren. 😂
Hi Sandi! Love you!
Try the 25x25 Sudoku puzzles. Since retirement and COVID, I’ve been enjoying them also.
I bet you had some muscles you didn’t know you had after helping Jack. Lots of up and down stairs, lifting and carrying and walking. Glad you are in good shape from your daily activities. 😊😊
While they're visiting London, Mark & Sandi should book therapeutic massages 💕💕
❤ to you all. From a DIY homeowner of an old home. The directions of gutters and downspouts far enough away from the house help and the dirt grade around the house helps direct water away too. Clay dirt around a house is always better than organic material or stone. Just our experience. Not an expert here just a loyal viewer.😂
Sandy has major skills! A farmer has to be a jack of all trades and the Brock family really have the skills!
Sandi: trying to humanely and quietly handle a group of rams so she can doctor one.
The dogs: best we can do is 45 seconds of chaos.
Poor Jack but lucky he has awesome parents like you! We live and learn!
Thanks for a very enjoyable episode!
Piper is fearless AND a Bouncer!!!🐶🥓🍗🍖🥩
Sandi, a lot of different activities going on, a sick lamb, Jacks home needed work done on it. Watching the rams headbutt each other, make me go “ouch”
stay safe everybody, love from Mike. ❤
Piper is hilarious! I can just imagine her “Walter Mitty” type thoughts in a bubble above her head! 💕😅
Oh! those 2 rams head-butting 💥& Piper coming between them! 💥Piper sandwich!😮I really, really hope Piper learns before she gets hurt 💕💕
As always Sandi, your video's always brighten my day. Thank you 🙂
We are having amazing Feb. weather in Ontario. Here in Ottawa were going up to +6 this week so our snow will be dramatically going. Good luck at Jacks.
27:00 Thank you for the explanation of the "basket" assembly and what you're going to do with it!
Who knew, all those years ago, lil ol’ ladies with their blue- tinted hair were just really early style mavens? 😉
How can you not Love Sandi and family. Hard working, kind and caring people.❤❤
Jack’s basement- He’s using Dri-Core sub floor...Bryan Baemlar would be proud! ❤️🇨🇦🙌
I love that piper was trying to brake up the 2 Rams from fighting.
Poor Jack I feel your pain flooding is terrible. Fixing the damage is worse doing a great job. Hang in there.
I’m so proud of you and how you represent the good and kind hearted side of farmers. 🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka
Sandi, thank you for showing excellent family values and compassion.
I so love you & your videos.
Thank you again
Sandy you have such an amazing family.I love watching you all grow together and conquer each day.
Omgosh poor Jack 🫨! Finding all this out AFTER you've purchased a new home 🏡 sucks!! I'm so sorry. Mom and Dad to the rescue 🦸♀️🦸!! Good luck ❤
The sheep looking under the gate to watch you fix their gate,as to say Hey your doing a great job! lol Thanks Sandi for all you do. ♥️
a tribute to the relationship Sandi has with her flock 💕💕
Love, love, love, Your babies❤❤❤
