5:39 footloose station is actually really easy because all of the enemies are standing on crates that break as soon as you hit them so you can just roll with the ink brush and kill them all really fast. As long as you yourself don't fall through the holes that is
I love #1! I use it to grind points now, it's so much more relaxing having a level of enemies trying to kill you. Just hit the sides and it's super easy

It's super easy with the charger, just make sure to never fully charge it

Here's a Random Tip for the Fight, if you Use Octobagging while Moving, You could avoid being Shot with the Original Hero Shot (Inner Agent 3's Weapon) Most of the time.

He's right IMO. Rollers ink in straight lines, and I honestly hate using them unless it's for stealth kills, and just can't use them without rapidly flicking ink rather than rolling it. I'm not too big on the brushes either, but I honestly think they ink better, especially the inkbrush because of it using less ink and being faster. It is just my opinion though. ^-^
gnarly rails is literally one of the easiest levels ever. I used it for grinding (heheheh) cq points before i unlocked the one hit station

I'm now scared to buy the octo expansion.
Don't worry, it's super fun and each level feels refreshing and unique. The harder difficulty compared to the hero mode feels gratifying to players who've completed single player first, so I'd do that :)
i think once you complete the octo expansion you'll understand that its like really hard, but like worth it.

Don't be scared, I'm sure you can beat it! I got the Octo expansion as soon as I got splatoon 2 about this time last year, and I finished it in about a few months. I'm now going back and 100%ing all of the levels because I enjoyed it so much. Also, free gear!!

ik im 9months late but when i was re doing this one anytime i would touch big amounts of ink i wouldt die but when the ink was (i kid you not) microscopic to were you cant't see it i die
2:00 In Dinky Ink Station there is a crate immediately to your left at the beginning that contains a ink refill, if done properly you only need to beat one of the side paths. You could also use the refill to make missing your shots less punishing.

I know what he said but to be honest the actual hardest level (going for what the game considers 100% which is All levels complete with one weapon) is probably a tie between the final bosses and girl power

It's called the Match "master" station Nagomi and his team added it to the Octo expansion knowing that people were going to speed run it, so they added multiple levels that require patience to stop people from attempting a speedrun.

8-ball levels are easy if u take ur time
I can agree with the last one inly if u use a blaster, other wise, just break the red crates.
A lot of these levels can be easily beaten with a different weapon or method. Also, I love those box sculpting levels. After a long session of HELL, it feels good when your not being CHASED BY OCTO SNIPE- *ahem* In my opinion, I like those levels.

At first people may think "Matchmaster is easy! It even shows you what crates to break!"
When using a rapid blaster pro though, that thing is hell.

All you have to do is shoot the pixel at the edge of the corner of each box, it's slow and boring for a splatoon level but it's like a game of minesweeper
I did the rapid blaster pro on my second try, just shoot the middle

Its possible to beat dinky ink station without fighting the flying enemies at all.
not wrong. I did it with a skip around the fort set of boxes, ditching the propeller lift (just jump in kid then go to octo), and using the secret ink tank.

@@tillyc-w2740 on the left when you enter, there's a set of boxes with an extra ink tank in the small orange box. If your very careful you can use that ink tank instead of fighting the flying enemies

3:40 You have to be careful with your vertical swing ?
You can use your normal swing with the same ink consumption.
5:00 You don't need to fully charge the Bamboozler on small crates so you can spam when there's more than one crate up ahead.
the ink and watch station, you dont have to do only vertical swings, and just flicking the roller while standing makes things easier on the first two platforms

How is girl power #2? It was wthe last level I beat legitimately (meaning not skipping) and it took me about 30 tries.
Yeah that level is a bit weird. Personally if I can recall, it took me 1 or 2 tries but I've seen for others like yourself, it takes a lot more tries. I don't think it necessarily has to do with your skill but more with rng of the AI.

I won't deny that the first times it's hard but when you learn where each octoling spawns it becomes a lot easier, just bring a roller and camp them.
All the levels listed are easy and took me one or two tries except for move it station

I feel like the hardest stations for me are matchmaster, targetbuster, move it move it and righteous rails. While some on the list, like the car one, are hard, you have enough checkpoints and free room to not feel too stressed. However, with the above 4, one slight mistake causes you to start from the beginning, making it especially painful.

1. you're never forced to use a weapon unless you wanna get to inner agent 3 (you said you are forced to use the rapid blaster pro to break the boxes on the last one lmao) 2. other than that nice video. but this is just your rankin since most people will probably have different rankings. i personally find all the 8 ball stages easy (except the billiard one with the splat charger)

I use the roller w/ splat bombs, just camp the octoling's spawn points and your good.

I mean the level design is ingenious but also rage inducing to the point where I just decided just to not do the rest of the levels and just go straight to the final boss although i didn’t really find the footloose station that hard the others make sense and I actually loved how some of the levels had references to like older console’s like the GameCube

Can I just say that move it move it station was harder than girl power?... So many failed attempts that I had to gave the octo expansion a break for about a month. (I will never give Marina a chance to H A C C)
Girl Power is really easy if u memorize the spawn points. I also struggled with move it move it but if u just start at the corner and slowly walk horizontally you wont take damage at all
I disagree with #6. You can hit the first and second wave of crates with horizontal swings. And also where is Octo Oven XXL with the Octobrush?

When I finally beat Ink & Watch Station, I actually cheesed it. On the third platform, I was down to 1 crate left when I ran out of ink. I panicked and used my dry roller to break the crate with direct contact before CQ exploded the ink bag. It counted as a win.
This video legit motivated me to complete every level, as well as beat the secret final boss, so idk if I want to say “screw you” or “thank you”

In the octowasher one you don't need to use the vertical swing so it is actually much easier and doesn't deserve a spot on this list

ACTUALLY..... The bamboozler is a good weapon. People call it trash since they need to get good, The bamboozler requires a lot of skill and those who have that skill, I respect, If you call it trash, you don’t have the skill for it. Also, most of these levels were pretty easy with the highest weapon (not dinky ink tho, THATS where I agree) The eight ball levels and gnarly rails station are also easy. JUST. GET. GOOD. A lot of these levels are very easy... Inner agent 3 is the hardest...

I remember when I first got Octo Expansion, and had a tough time with the Move it Move it Station, and never was able to beat it before story completion.
When I went back about a month later to clear all of the levels, I completed it first try.

I got the expansion when it came out, and started splatoon 2 in december 2017
Matchmaster is in my opinion one of the fun ones because with the rapid you actually have to figure out how the blast radius works and how to use it

9:04 This stage (with the rapid blaster) was the last one for me to 100% the octo expansion with all weapons. I'll give you advice on how I did mine even though there are tutorials or walkthroughs.
What I did first was that I got on the top of the head and started shooting there. I always shot the corners that were away from the white boxes so they won't take any damage. If you see two orange boxes together and they are surrounded by white boxes, shoot the part where the orange boxes touch. If there are three, shoot the one that has two boxes connected to it.
This is what I have remembered. This might be bad advice. I am not sure, however it has worked for me.
when i was halfway down the octopus, i made my checkpoint and finished breaking all the boxes. A good thing about setting a checkpoint is that when you fail your test, the boxes' damage taken will reset.
Also, if your cursor isn't an X (The O but there's the lines in an X shape) and you launch at an orange box, the indirect blast will destroy the white crates and fail your test.
If you have really shaky hands, I recommend turning off motion controls so you have precise shots.
This all is what worked for me, and I hope it helps you out as well.

Nathan McElroy it's even easier than that. Go in front of him when he's on the edge which is most of the time since being hit won't result in being off stage.
To unlock the secret boss you have to get all mem cakes without hacking
Tip: only use the verticle swing for the cratestack at the end. with a horozontal, it's easier to hit the first 2.

Asian Magikarp the fact that it isn't a fricking 'everybody can use this weapon' like a clash blaster, bloblobber or n-zap doesn't mean that it can't be as good as them. If you think the bamboozler sucks you just haven't seen a good user yet.

1:01 the octo brush is quicker ohhhh more credits I say use the octo brush. while on the rails but still when u roll with it it destroys the green targets instantly keep rolling till u go on rails then u splash it with so much damage then at the end keep splashing and splashing until test passed

I think brushes may actually be better for inking. As long as you can rapidly tap the button it can be more swift.
Brushes spread more and rollers have always seemed like a “clean-up” kind of weapon, to me at least. You can ink more with a brush as long as you tap enough and keep an eye on your ink.
Also, I know Matchmaker and Matchmaster station can be easily mixed up but 1# is matchmaster. Though I do agree that is the hardest with rapid blaster pro
I have a tip for the matchmaker station. If you're using the squeezer just do the usual. if you're using charger just feather it don't fully charge it because it shoots in a line and can break random crates. If you're using the blaster, if it's possible try to shooting the corner or ends with no boxes nearby so it's blast radius doesn't break any of the other boxes or at least ink them.
