The insane thing is that even after being shelled relentlessly and torpedoed, followed by a hellish multi-thousand foot sinking to the bottom and rough slide down an underwater volcano, the wreck is largely intact. Aside from a small section on the stern and the weaker section of the command tower it’s still intact. The stern of the titanic had a similar sinking and it’s a wreck. Even the swastika where Hitler himself stood for a picture is still pristine. If that biplane didn’t get the lucky hit on it’s rudder, who knows what that thing could’ve done. Hell it turned the pride of the British fleet into dust.
i mean it'd probably have fucked up the allied convoys for a while until the british navy found it again at which point we'd have a recreation of what happened IRL, or what happened to the tirpitz despite it's massive size, huge armor and huge guns, bismarck was mainly a propaganda piece to show the industrial might of germany and it's blatant disregard for the rules set for it after WW1. What i'm saying is bismarck was one hell of a battleship, but it was not one hell of a warship
Yeah, it was an impressive battleship, and if it had been in the German navy in WW1 it probably could've wrecked shop at Jutland, but by the 1940s the age of the battleship was over. It was going to be sunk by aircraft or a vastly superior British navy at some point no matter what. The Yamato and Musashi were even bigger and more powerful than the Bismarck, but air attacks destroyed them just as surely as a thousand other ships during WW2. And the Hood was a very old and outdated ship itself, it was only sunk by a spectacularly lucky shot by the Bismarck, much like the Swordfish pilot who jammed the Bismarck's rudder got off a spectacularly lucky torpedo. As Sundowner said it was mostly a propaganda piece.
Also, with the Titanic (if memory serves me right), they cut corners… a lot of corners. But the Bismarck? That's a ship for war. Likely they didn't cut as many corners. The Bismarck was going to survive being sunk more than the Titanic.
Not just the Bismarck but the KRIEGSMARINE and the German Empires navy during ww1. The fleet of the German Empire was the second largest in the world just behind Britain and it had a lot of battleships which is even better.
Nothing beats a good "with each salvo, I grow stronger" delivered to the British, sent via 1 15-inch shell entering one of the HMS Hood's munition lockers.
You know Bismarck's own captain doomed the ship, when torpedoes were incoming, the captain underestimated the armour belt and ordered hard to port. Thus the torpedoes had a clear shot at the rudder, dooming the ship.
@@jeffthemercenary She was crippled long before she sank tho, rendered practically combat ineffective. Its not uncommon for even cruisers to take upwards of a hundred shots before sinking.
How do you make this powerful versions? Are you just adding some sound in the actual music and try if it's looks good, or are you doing something else?
In this case I made an orchestral version based on the original. Some other songs have official soundtrack versions (for instance The Future of Warfare by Sabaton).
Imagine hearing the original song and thinking to yourself "i can improve this" and jam out on your son's Fischer Price piano over the song and putting it on the internet under the title "the most powerful version "
May i make a small criticism? i can barely hear the guitar and vocals over some of these orchestral versions, in my own opinion, the guitar and vocals are two of the main reasons i listen to these songs, maybe you could raise the volume of the guitars and vocals? I dont know if anyone else feels this way but id like to put it out there. Aside from that, excellent job.

Even if it was done with the British Fleet, the Bismarck would've to deal with the American Navy as well
