I think their tokyo run without something subbed for a one trick gekko was really good, top 3, and their champs run was pretty exceptional as well, they just couldn't close it out. I think more and more teams are recognizing the flaws of PRX's philosophy, and because PRX haven't really adapted much and is still W gaming, this was expected, just we didn't know when.
Funniest thing is, the maps themselves haven’t changed much. Yeah Fracture and Pearl are gone but they somehow became poor on Bind & Ascent, two maps they'd smoke teams on.

Prx still struggle with 5v5 postplant since 2022 i think (?). When they cant get kill before plant, force them to play 5v5 postplant with lacks of utility available (prx has a bad util management, they often using tons of util while attacking). Against g2, they cant get kills like what they want, they dont hav util for postplant, they dont hav a good strat for doing postplant, and they also dont hav igl who can manage them as a team. I love wgaming, but it looks like they didnt even fix their problem since last year xd Great video btw
I feel like the Bind game with FUT is a sign that they can use their util correctly and at the right time. But idk if the dry swings can work against some teams with better aimers, which is a problem for them.

Counters are as follows for map flips such as this one: If they simply push onto the site, then they are going to get flooded on, fast retaken or simply trap setupped (Something had an awp this round, so it was trap+fast flood w/Neon.) - Given the situation, there are couple of ways to deal with this, and it will change second to second. Options are as follows: 1. Take space on the other side and freeze. Work the map for info and take space back. 2. Speed up and hail mary it. 3. Refute the map flip and fight into the Neon. - After they see the 3 players push through mound, they take space towards A, but don't commit to the site. Reason being, is they don't have the info on any other part of the map (remember what I said about the trap setup from earlier?) - That all changes when Fade spots Kayo pushed up B. This means on the A site there is max 1. They avoid the Awp, recognize the neon flood exists, and that fast retaking with the awp is not ideal (Something reenters site through drop for this exact reason.) - So what makes pushing into their spawn instead of fighting so much better here? A couple of things to recognize: 1. Fighting spawn negates the flood potential neon has. 2. Flooding is only good when the spike is being tapped. (It means for those 4 seconds, the attackers are fighting 4v5.) 3. G2 is actually doing two of the three things mentioned earlier, freezing to gain info after space, and then hard execcing when they have the info. They don't stop there though, as they can minmax the space taking while eliminating the flood potential with the timing they gained. 4. To top it all off, Icy heard Something redrop into site, likely calling for a wrap on the stranded awp player without an updraft.
Ur video is really good. By the way, about your comment on the meta - prx used the bind meta comp against fut yesterday and pretty much cooked. While fut isnt as strong as g2, it still shows there might be a few things their still not showing. I love this team, and while i hope they qualify for playoffs, i would be happy if their sent back so they get a slap in the face and trying to fix their issues

PRX will never win with the way they play right now. Every LAN, they do the same thing over and over again yet expect different results. With Alecks getting all salty on camera when these are literally the same issues they have been having the past two years.

just want to call out how they played the meta comp on bind and looked so much better. that was a great call. They had the utility to play their aggressive style but a better defensive backbone to lean back on. Maybe the redefining of W gaming is simply to do it with comps that are fundamentally better
G2 have strong procedure to execute site and move together like unit, if certain agent defender holding site like how they act and respond and how they adjust or calling for rotate to execute another site, just like madrid or shanghai prime gen.g to attack site. For defend they just study the pattern of utility or the opponent try to do. Remember they have scrim, they can fake strat in scrim to trick and bait the opponent main strat and in stage they can use different strat or they can adjust the strat

On icebox against EDG, we saw that they can play a default comp and do well on a relatively simple map but maps like lotus where you have to work out the map and be methodical simply doesn't work and they look terrible on it. I thought that (had they kept Monyet) they would improve and be a much better team because they had a player who's way more flexible and adds depth to their gameplans but, as soon as Jingg came back, all that went away and now they're stuck going back to this aggressive play style. I feel as though either the team needs a complete change in the way they approach and play the game, or the entire roster has to get changed if they want to find any semblance of success. IMO

I think that's one possible solution but not the only one. They are good partly because they are so specialized at their roles. They play phenomenally under perfect conditions when they can run the well planned post-plants/retakes that they want, but generally speaking lack the adaptability in the mid-round leading up to that point, which is mainly where DRX punished them.
What prx needs to imporve in my opinion: 1. One player has to step up as an IGL or atleast a final call maker. In many scenarios everyone in prx just looks so disjointed yeah, go aggressive no problem but atleast communicate with each other decide the plan and outcome before execution. At front lines something goes and kills 2 but rest of team is just ... god knows why not going with him to secure trade... i mean tf i swear Jingg and something think they can 1v 5 whole team by themselves, Forsaken also has that tendency but he still is ok compared to these two. They need a player who can finalize what they want to do so all can follow their rules to carry on the objective. 2.Jingg needs to learn one more role as duelist he still fucks up on neon and his raze is figured out by many, he can't put smth out of his Jett as we all know smth is probably has best Jett movement in entire game, he is undoubtedly top 3 Jett in APAC same for Reyna. Due to Jingg, Forsaken also cannot show his Yoru on most of maps, mind you this year we saw many yoru's in VCT from many other teams but PRX who arguably the team that defined the agent in pro play didn't played it, why cuz too many duelists if he also picks him. I am not saying Jingg shouldn't do duelist but atleast on some maps be flexible. IMO, he should master sentinel roles cuz as much of good team prx is they dont play sentinels much, why ? cuz they only have KJ. No disrespect to Forsaken but his Cypher is not international level good, after Benkai no one on this team can play that agent that good in this team. Also as smth has started to flex on initiators it would be really good to try hand in other class to give more variety to team. And i think Jingg is talented enough to do this if he puts his mind. 3. They need a good mental coach, as soon as they start to lose 4-5 rnds they just cannot comeback in game.its like their spirit gets shattered

i think prx have dropped in form quite a bit, in champs 2023 everyone had their clutch moments and everyone seemed to be at top form seemingly every match, something being a fragging monster, forsaken being the greatest flex player, jingg being arguably the best raze player of that year, mindfreak the clutch god, and uncle d1vide, who seemingly pulled 3 kills out of nowhere. Their team play seems more uncoordinated as they take more 1v1s from what I’ve seen, which worked last year, but now we have teams who can punish spread out teams and win their isolated duels. im gold one take what i say with a pinch of salt
On the first blood, first death stats, can you provide other team's stats as well?. DRX and Lev look like the anti G2/EG when it comes to these stats, but just showing G2's stats makes em wonder how balanced their fb fd numbers are
I really don't understand why g2 is treated like that. They are the most balanced team when it comes to strats,discipline etc. They are frankly a better version of the old drx as they play by the book and try not to rely on individual plays. Many people call their playstyle boring. Funny how with this "Boring" playstyle,they were able to reach top 3 in an international tournament and are also looking good in Champions. I'm rooting for them this time around. They look better then Sen and lev as both of those teams suffer with consistency issues. And KRU is still a massive question mark.

This is probably why Coldzera's jumping op play is considered "Legendary" even tho it was 99.99% pure dumb luck cuz normally you get your head ripped off if you jump right in front of five players like that.

Comparison of standard deviation truly shows if you can make the claim that there is truly a significant difference or if it is by mere chance. I would be curious if that is real. G2 is the next EG with less trashtalk, but their win against PRX is more of PRX not playing well than them playing well. PRX need to exploit G2's weakness, which is inexperience. They have to be on top form to punish G2 and I am sure at some point G2 will crumble.
g2 might even win champs my guy they wont crumble before clenching a top 3 spot atleast. The core is experienced since 2022 and they have grinded a lot to come here.
NA teams have slow textbook playstyle and that works against teams like prx but emea owns NA teams because they know how to counter it by defaulting. Fnatic is a great team who defaults so good and counter na teams.

I miss PRX from 2023, they had good fundamentals, traded their kills, and everyone was firing on all cylinders

G2 is the next EG with less trashtalk, but their win against PRX is more of PRX not playing well than them playing well. PRX need to exploit G2's weakness, which is inexperience. They have to be on top form to punish G2 and I am sure at some point G2 will crumble.
