Paul did suffer a stroke in 2016 and again in 2019 it left him unable to speak Six months later he was able to sing again God bless Paul and his doctors ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think Geoff Whitehorn is one of the best guitarists in the rock music. He played with many famous bands. He also played in Procol Harum more than 20 years.
I first saw this unbelievable, incredible, incredulous, inspiring, insane young Dude with his band 'Free', way back in 1969.(I could go on, and on with my Compliment's Praise's and ilterations etc!). In my home town in Wolverhampton,West Midlands (UK) in a very small club called The "Catacombs". Later on that year,at the Newcastle under Lyme outdoor festival and Mighty 'Isle of Wight' festival and many other venues in the UK.I'm now 71 yrs old. I've been blessed to see him in 1973 with "Bad Company" on their 1st UK tour. Again I could on and on' together with the phenomenal 'Paul Kossoff, "Andy Fraser" and "Simon Kirke" and in his many incarnations of solo bands too"The Firm"! He's a "Legend ". God bless him and to all his Fans. Geoff Whitehorn and Co here! Brilliant. Thank you for the Music! ❤️🇬🇧🙏👍😊
Yes, brilliant guitarist, saw procol harum 2018 at London palladium,so Gary and Geoff winner winner chicken dinner for me! It stays in my heart forever, I still have the unused tickets for their next performance there, sadly not to be😢❤
I saw Paul twice on this tour, once at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge UK, and the other at the Royal Albert Hall. While I was at the RAH show, I had a fever of 102, but I wasn't going to miss it for the world. I think "Now" is one of his finest works of art and one of the best iterations (aside from Free / BadCo) of bands he's ever had. Geoff Whitehorn was very inspirational to my return to guitar back in the mid to late 90s when I was living in the UK. This video is a gem, thank you for posting!
@@hugostahlbaum8714hi hugo, well have done some research, and although i had nor my husband had heard of shortlist, it came up with Family, and my husband loved family (the singing goat no less) and his favourite track was burlesque! Hi Hugo, just to say have been researching Roger Chapman and Shortlist, well when it came up with Family, my husband loved them ( the singing goat, and his favourite track was Burlesque) so we have just found shortlist live at Hamburg and it was great! So thanks for educating us on something we did not know ❤
Gary Moore plays with Paul on a song on the Muddy Waters tribute album. Seems everyone played on that album. Seems Paul has played with everyone by this time.

Geoff Whitehorn. Guitar legend!
Very good quality! Thanks for the upload :)
Great song writer. Midnight Moonlight Morning Sun......etc.....
PS: Isn't it 1997, as "Now" has been released in June 1997?
I just learned that Paul suffered a stroke years ago
Who's the badass bassist?
Not sure, but there are always bad ass bassist around him. Performing in front of 100 people like they are 10000, only Paul Rodgers :D
@dinkodinev The bassists name is Jazz Lochrie. You are right, Paul ALWAYS has a badass on bass.
Jaz Lochrie. Also played bass with Bad Company, Go West. Best bass player I have ever played with!
