The great thing about music is that any song can be composed differently and yet still be the same song as it was just because of the lyrics. I wonder who the first artist was that got sick of hearing their own song played the same way so many times they changed it up and the people were probably WOW! I like it that way too. When I got the 1st 2 Eric Burdon and WAR albums I already knew him from the Animals but, the versions of Paint it Black or Nights in White Satin they did really showed off a lot more of his talent to change it up.
Saw this band at a golf club with my brother … I was 19 he was 24 and used his ID to drink … still to this day one of thee best shows/ concerts I’ve ever been too … love my brother and love Eric ….

I've known of these guys(Eric Burden & Brian Auger) since the seventies, though I didn't know of them collaborating together, but does Brian Auger's facial expression looks like he's pissed when he's playing(pounding) the crap out of his keyboard(s). Don't get me wrong, the guy is a fantastic musician. I like it when a musician plays his ax with an attitude.
