I kind of love LG's implantation of this multi-display phone. Makes sense, looks good, easy to setup and use and very functional
Great review @TK Bay. It definitely has potential to be a useful accessory, albeit only for the LG V50 Korean model. That's the only thing holding it back IMO.
Excellent, this can really make use of the cpu multicore power, extra ram , gpu for multi tasking, etc.

if you slip the screen 360. can you use the front camera as your camera with the viewfinder on the secondary screen?
That's cool for LG V50 users...great review...
LG forgot to add shoulder buttons so it can use it like a gamepad that is the fail that I see, would be better to play with emulators like drastic and PPSSPP and Muppenfz
that would have been amazing
But that can be implemented on the device only, not on the accessory. It isn't feasible using the gamepad on the accessory - too flimsy. Gaming device brands should implement this accessory idea in their future releases. That'd be awesome!
I think it's a really cool feature it is something new, but the one thing I found really unconvenient is that when you try to watch a video on the RUclips or watching a movie and someone text you it's really hard to answer because most of the time we use a portrait mode with the phone not the landscape... and if you push back the second screen to use a portrait mode answer the message than what's the point of it..)))
Hello, your review is great and pretty thorough. I'm leaning towards this dual screen model (versus the G8x and the v60) for personal preferences, and your video has answered more questions I had. 👍🏽 I have a question regarding Live streaming on Facebook and Instagram at the same time. Have you had a chance to test if you can have both Facebook and Instagram open (on each display) and use the Live function at the same time using the single front facing (and/or rear facing) camera? Some wanna stream on both platforms to reach more followers. Aside from only needing one tripod, people could mount this one device on a gimbal, for example, for smooth action streaming. Thank you

it is much better implementation then foldable phones.

So is the functionality of the v50 duel screen more limited to the G8x duel screen?
It seems that the G8x allows for one application to be split between both screens, but I haven't seen any reviews showing that on the v50.

Of course you can, that's literally THE point of it being a separate accessory. No offense but you can just google "lg v50" and see tons of pictures of the phone without dual screen.
