Saw this review - instantly ordered the game. Big fan of the Consulting Detective/Chronicles of Crime type of game, a setting in the golden age of crime fiction seems just about perfect, and a high rating from Mr Garcia.
Very glad to see this one covered, I have played loads of those games, I really like that in this small box at a modest price you have mostly cards and just the right amount of content you want to go through that really supports the cases, you dont need an app or a timer like in Unlock or Chronicles of Crimes, and it's rarely about manipulation of the material, rather pure deduction... It's a nice gateway game in the genre without proposing overly simple or basic family-level content... Looking forward to trying the 2nd instalment with the same character Claire Harper at different moments of her life! This box and "Codex: the secret of Leonardo Da Vinci" (not sure it's been translated into English) are my favorite experiences of this type of games I think.
Clever idea to allow you to get “credit” for early and correct answers while letting you fully explore all the content. I think I’ll adopt this approach to other “Who done it?” games.
Thank you for the review! I am in-between whether I would like a light weight or heavy weight deduction game. I played a different game where luck played a big role. I think I might like something with more deduction skill.
Is there any BS where players have to act out characters and make up stuff/convince other players? Like One Night Werewolf - I can't stand games like that. Like everything else I hear though.

After you play it, update us on how it went! I haven't played many mystery games, so I'm curious as to just how hard are the cases here.
Just wanted to say that I really like your Final Thoughts +/- categories on reviews, great format Zee
