    My 2013 doesn't have the fog lights.....noticed it when I switched out my headlight assemblies for black projector units.....LOL. I have to do a full installation....there's just a black cover where the lights should go....good tutorial though.

      The fog light uses an H11 bulb type, the XB LED Fogs will be a direct replacement and no bulbs needed!

    Do the new angled fogs for the Nissan/Infiniti’s have adjustment screws? I couldn’t aim them whenever I put them on my G.

      Send an email to support@theretrofitsource.com and we will walk you through how to aim these fog lights.

    those tap connectors will corrode the wire in couple yrs , then you start to have issues

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      A little bit of dielectric grease will prevent that, Especially in areas that salt the roads.

    Hello, how exactly are you supposed to adjust the height on these? One of mine is shining lower than the other, and I haven't found a way to adjust that anywhere... Doesn't seem to have any sort of adjustment screws on them like the ones that other models have, unless I'm blind. Thanks

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 года назад +1

      It will retain any adjustment that the factory fog light had, so if your fog light could be adjusted from the factory then these will not either. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help!

      @@RetrofitSource My factory foglights have what appear to be an adjustment knob on the back of the housing. These replacement ones do not have any adjustments from what I can see... So I take it the Morimotos are not adjustable? In that case, how exactly does the guy in the video adjust them? He mentions it like 3 times...

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 года назад

      I just checked with an employee that had an Altima with those fog lights, unfortunately they are actually no longer adjustable. That said, I was told that installing them into that bumper should have them aimed properly already, so you should be good to go! @@RetrofitSource Unfortunately that isn't the case for me, my driver's side is aimed significantly lower than passenger. I have even taken them off and re-mounted with same effect. Just trying to find a solution on how to make them both level...

      Bummer man, you could try using some washers to change the angle of the fog light that is off, other than that, unfortunately I will not have anything for you there. Sorry about that my man!

    I don't have a fog light and a DRL, can I still get a DRL with this?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 года назад

      You would need to wire them up like the factory fog lights but yes!

  • @mohammadalghamdi628

    How about non-USDM vehicles, how to run the DRLs on them?

      We mostly develop for the USDM market, You might be able to find a local automotive shop that can help out.

      @@RetrofitSource But at least if the fog light bulbs are the same they should be PNP?

  • @dmsndy
    @dmsndy 4 года назад

    On a 2016 Altima with factory DRL and Fog in the same housing do I still need to tap into the parking light wire or are the just plug and play without that wire?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      For this case, you'll still need to tap into the parking lights.

    • @dmsndy

      TheRetrofitSource Inc so just leave DRL harness hanging? And I lose functionality of the DRL?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад +1

      Yes, that is correct. You'll leave the DRL harness unattached. You'll still have DRL functionality, it will just be with your parking lights.

      TheRetrofitSource Inc I installed them yesterday and all seems to be working well, they are just a little low. Any ideas on how I can shim them to aim up just a little bit?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      Yes. There will be and adjustment screw on them that you can rotate to aim them either up or down. It'll take a phillips head screwdriver!

    Should have shown a view from the drivers seat and had a comparison of old vs new from that seat. Not just a view of the front bumper.

      @@RetrofitSource yes, I would say set the camera at the position of where most people's heads are at while driving. It's great to see how bright they are from the outside, but the most important view is from that drivers seat.

      We didn't because there are already output video's and product reviews for this style housing. This was video was meant to be a DIY reference so people can see how to do it them selves.

    I have a 2016 Altima S. My car doesn’t have any fog lights but only a black cover where the lights should go. Is this install still possible?

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  3 года назад

      You would need a wiring harness and the fog light bracket/housing!

  • @leorush8171
    @leorush8171 4 года назад +1

    Do not buy these if you have a 2010-2012 Nissan Altima. The wires don’t fit and neither do the fog lights.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      That is correct, they are unfortunately only compatible with the 2013-2016 Altima fog lights, just as the title states! 👍

      TheRetrofitSource Inc the Morimoto website falsely reported that they can fit into 2007-2017 Nissan Altimas. As upset as I am, I guess I’ll grab a factory kit.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      So after taking a look, it looks as though those will actually fit in your vehicle, and I apologize for the confusion!👍

    • @leorush8171
      @leorush8171 4 года назад

      @@RetrofitSource It's all good, bro, but it turns out it wouldn't have fit my vehicle since the wiring harness won't properly attach to the H11 stock fog light plug. No worries, I got myself some factory fogs, so it is what it is.

    • @RetrofitSource
      @RetrofitSource  4 года назад

      They will totally attache to that H11 connector, and that is what comes with those fog lights! All good though, if you need anything else just let us know!
