@@ravetourguide I like the premium shuttles. Last year if you missed your timeslot or wanted to go at a different time for Premium, they made you take Standard Shuttles. If you don't have the final Premium shuttle back and want to stay until sunrise, just go straight to the Standard shuttles especially on Saturday or Sunday. This year I'm gonna go big and helicopter in.
First timer here! Travelling from the U.K. - I’m very new with the whole EDC experience. I have so many questions… I’m more than likely going to take the premier shuttle option. My issue is finding the right hotel within my budget that’s not too far from my pick up point or even which ever is closest to the speedway? Any advice is very much appreciated! ❤
Thanks for the advice guys, I think I’m going to go with the STRAT premier shuttle option and either stay at the STRAT or I believe Sahara is a hotel nearby to that pickup location… I’m also not coming just for the festival, I’ll be spending a week or so in Vegas to do all the tourist things etc… I believe mid/central strip for me will be more beneficial just so that I’m central for doing the tourist kinda things. However, I do have a question regarding the shuttles… how are you seriously meant to decide an allocated time when there’s no lineup schedule out, so you could potentially gamble missing your artists or finding an alternate ride home?

I would recommend hotels like Planet Hollywood, the Linq, or the Luxor for value hotels that are a short drive/rideshare to the Rio or Grand Prix Plaza Shuttle Stop. And, they're also great hotels in the heart of all the action in Las Vegas for you to check out. Including the Bellagio Fountains and Bellagio Conservatory as well as the Linq Promenade, Ceasar's Palace, and the Cosmopolitan. All really cool places to check out. The Strat and the Sahara are also great hotels to stay at for EDC Weekend. On that side of the strip, you're close to Resorts World where EDC is doing their Hotel EDC Takeover. You're also near the new Fountaine Bleau casino that just opened -- although luxury and a tad expensive for me 😅. As for premier allocated times, it depends on how long you want to be at EDC for (especially since we don't know set times yet). Consider if you want to stay until the end of the festival at approx 530am. Also, I have read and watched various accounts of premier pass holders not having any issues getting onto premier shuttles even when it wasn't their scheduled time. You also have the option to use standard shuttles to get to the festival for more flexibility on the way to the festival.
Yes that is for all 3 days. Prices may be going up in 2025. Pre sale tickets go on sale in the next 3-7 days. Shuttle passes will probably go on sale later this year.
I've only taken the EDC Shuttle once to date (because I vastly prefer camping to staying at a resort during the festival)...............but I wanted to share my personal experience from 2022 in that it could be helpful for newer ravers here. 🙂 So I stayed at the Palms during EDC 2022: which is a resort located about a mile west of the Strip on Flamingo Avenue. The Rio is another resort located near Palms and is where one of the EDC Shuttle headquarters has long been. Each afternoon I basically would walk down Flamingo from the Palms to the Rio, walk through pretty much the entirety of Rio to the other side, exit it via their parking garage structure, and then continue from there to where the designated EDC Shuttle lot was positioned. I highly recommend bringing water because the line was fairly lengthy on the first day and you'll be standing in direct sunlight throughout that time, and also to re-fill your water hydration pack once you get through security because you're going to be sitting for an hour and a half possibly in sweltering heat, so you want to make sure you keep hydrated. But it wasn't too bad in my experience. 😊 It honestly takes a while to get to the speedway from your hotel. For me it took probably an hour and a half. So if you don't want to miss the Opening Ceremony on the first night especially, you want to make sure you account for the hour and a half it'll likely take you to get from Point A to Point B, as well as an additional hour for the potential wait in line and another half an hour on top of that to get from the shuttle off-boarding through security and admissions to the festival grounds. So I'd say give yourself three hours total, maybe three-and-a-half hours if you're worried about congestion on I-15. You definitely have to not only be very vigilant of time for the shuttle back to your resort, but also ask around and research where the EDC Shuttle on-boarding location is. After Day One completed I got lost trying to find the shuttle on-boarding lot, and wound up having to ask around for a ride until, luckily enough, I happened upon some other headliners who were more than happy to offer me a ride back. So it wound up being alright, but I acknowledge it was probably just luck of the draw and so I highly recommend researching where the shuttle pick-up spot is so you don't run the risk of getting stranded and potentially having to pay a premium amount for an Uber/Lyft back to the resort. Finally: the vibes in my experience were very warm and gregarious inside the shuttle. The shuttle drivers were even cordial and fun-loving, at least the one I was on. So don't hesitate to introduce yourself and greet others while on there. 😊
Thoughts on premier passes? Have 4 standard DT passes. One Grand prix Premier, not worried about using it on standard stop in DT, worried about not being able to take the standard back to DT. Like you said inbound, not trying to get sent back to south of vegas when my hotel is in Fremont

This is from EDC Website: "Each Premier Shuttle Pass is valid for a specific Premier Shuttle stop at a reserved time and cannot be used at any other Premier stop or at an alternate time. If you miss your reserved time we will honor your pass at any official Standard EDC Shuttle location. Standard EDC Shuttle stops will have a fast-pass lane through security on the inbound trip for Premier shuttle pass holders, GA+ ticket holders, and VIP ticket holders, but this fast-pass does not prioritize premier passes once past the security checkpoint." When I read "If you miss your reserved time we will honor your pass at any official Standard EDC Shuttle location," I infer that they would honor your pass on any official Standard EDC to any Standard stop. You might be able to get clarification by emailing customer service.
this is just my experience but last year was my first EDC and me and my friends that I was living with brought Premier shuttle at Horseshoe (Bally's). They let us get on at any time and we're not strict at all. On day 1, me and my group went to meet up another group at Rio and they let us on there too with no problems and no questions. I heard workers were strict for some other people with Premier shuttles but idk what are the chances that I had chill workers going to and from EDC a total of 6 times in 3 days? I'm getting premier again this year. Paying the extra money for piece of mind and extra benefits is worth it in the end for the amount of benefits and time you save

You definitely got lucky. I had the same shuttle stop and hotel. When waiting for friends at the line entrance I saw many get turned away because they had missed their premiere time slot.
Nice! I love LV and hope to live there someday, even if just for a year or two 😅. And, yes I do think you can easily find a Sunday ticket. There's always so many people each year who only want to go Friday and Saturday who would love to sell their wristband to recoup some of the loss by not going on Sunday. And, as of recently, Insomniac has started to sell single day passes for Sunday. Possibly to combat people selling their wristband on Day 3 😅.

It drops you off close to the entrance and I hear it is convenient getting out of the parking lot as well. I would estimate a rideshare from Fremont to EDC would be approx $50-$100. In 2023, on Friday at approx 530pm, it cost us $125ish from Mid-Strip to EDC.

I've done the shuttle before it is good except that this year everything below mid strip is getting ignored.
I totally agree, many headliners will be burdened with additional costs to get to shuttle stops.

The cheapest hotel I could find is Mardi gras hotel and casino Las Vegas. It’s like a 30 min walk to one of the stop which is Resorts World Las Vegas

oof! that's a long walk. That could be approx $20 rideshare to your hotel. We'll likely rideshare from our shuttle stop to our hotel.

You can do Circa! They’re 21+ only and the newest and nicest hotel in Downtown LV. Otherwise, Resorts World , Fontainebleau, or Wynn.

If you’re gonna do world market, Fremont street hotels are pretty close.

Seems like shuttle pass is best option. I'm not a huge fan of having to purchase same departure times for all 3 days.
