Since March 2020, I own such a Trumpet but to medical problems in 2020 and 2021 such as a COVID-19 infection, I've only played it for about 5 hours until January 2021.... Hopefully I can start up playing again this spring/summer, getting to know this trumpets better. I',m looking forward to that time. I also own a CarolBrass 3880 Cornet.
I've considered a Dizzy/Euro bell for playing at church so that my horn point out above the first couple of rows of pews without me having to do a "press box" posture.
The bell angle is because Thomas Gansch is a downstream player, and wanted a bell that projected out, rather than down. You and I are upstream players, and not the best choice for small venues, where we have to play into the stand or back off to p or pp levels the entire gig. That wears me personally down more than outdoor gigs where I'm blasting away.
You got the naming convention slightly wrong it is as follows: CTR = carol trumpet 5 = pro line 2 = nickel silver outer tuning slides 8 = twin tube leadpipe nickel over yellow 0 = 460 bore G = 85% copper gold brass L = large Bach 72 like bell taper T = thin bell (0.4mm / 0.016 inch) Euro = bent bell D = extra diameter bell (5.25 inch)
Nice sounding horn! Sounds as if it responds well, too. What was the first classical excerpt you played. You play it all the time and I like it but I don't know it.
The fact that The euro Bell is bend, does that make you hear better your self when you play? Like The saxophone that is bend to, way moore bend of course.
This horn won't last long at all... check it out at this link.

Trent- I enjoy your playing. You have such a sweet happy sound. I have a Eurobell in silver. Nice horn.
CarolBrass makes some good horns. I love my brushed brass pocket. The only pocket I've tried that stays in tune.
Love the detail in the tuning slide brace.

Forget about all of the horns I just wish I could play like you.
Cool horn.

No this horn is very different from the Oiram.

Yes I think there is a positive benefit from the upturned bell in regards to the feedback.
