Hope you enjoyed this review! Carol makes some awesome instruments, especially for intermediate and advancing players, so make sure to check them out if that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re interested in the 3050H, get in touch with Clearwater Music and tell ‘em Sam sent you :)
Great review Sam! You know Carol Brass really their act together! I am 69 and have 14 trumpets in my stable! Last year I bought the Carol Brass Andrea Giuffredi Model and man what a horn! It plays every bit as good as my Bachs, Schilke, Yamahas and vintage Martin Committee. The intonation on the CB AG is incredible as even the low D and C# require very little trigger. The response and slotting are spot on! It is an incredible horn for the price and I am steering my students to the CB Brand. Thank you for the video!
Thank you for your comment! It’s been interesting even within my relatively short time playing to see just how much CB’s reputation has shifted from intermediate to advanced and professional. I’m very interested to try a Giufreddi model someday.
Thank you. I’ll definitely be reviewing an 8335 I’ve got in my possession for a bit. I’ve never played an 8345, but from a quick Google search it looks very similar to my friend’s horn. I might ask him about it.
The exact weight isn’t listed on the Carol Brass website but just about any standard trumpet should weigh in at 2-3 pounds. If you’re really worried about your son being too small for the trumpet, start him on a cornet. It’s a similar instrument with the same fingerings and embouchure, so when he gets bigger he can easily move to a trumpet.

Would you recommend it to a beginner? How does it compare with Yamaha 2330? Thanks.
Love Sam's reviews as even though I'm not in the market for a horn like this, i still learnt lots!
Thanks James! Glad to hear it!
Sounds like a great horn!
Lots of Carol's instruments are! I hope they continue to build that reputation they have worked hard for.
I like the mic setup in this video! Reflects the sound quality.
The “mic setup” in this video is literally just the iPhone’s inbuilt mic LOL
Hoxon Gakki valve blocks. Jason Harrelson uses them
one of the best blocks imo
Wonderful Samuel!😁👏👏👏
Thank you!
You're so welcome!😁
Always liked your vidoes. Can you one day review my _Xeno 8345G?_ or any Xenos ? 😊🎺

What its weight please? For my 11 year old son but he is petite

Yes he owns both a cornet and a trumpet but would like to upgrade cause the trumpet he has is a student trumpet
