Looks awesome. I’m amazed you can keep organized in such a tight space. Makes me appreciate the space I have to work in!

No room to lose things that's for sure.

Looking great . The finish from powder is so much neater than paint but all the black is going to look slick and stealthy.

For your corroded aluminum parts, they can be filled and sanded using Allmetal (follow their directions), treat it just like Bondo. It can then be powder coated.

Good overall finish given the convenience and ease of the powder coating process but don't totally agree with the comments from 05.44 where "you can't get anything like that" and "if you paint that, you'd never get..... never". I don't think it's a case of powder or paint giving a better finish, it's usually more to do with the surface preparation regardless of what coating is used. With enough effort, you can definitely get perfectly beautiful finishes with painting, obviously preparation is key.

It's the durability more than paint, this took me a long time to get the powdercoat off with 80 grit orbital sander, where paint just wou;dn't handle that kind of abuse or go on as thick.

Nice! I'm not really surprised they did the wrong side of those covers, they SO look like they should be bulging out, not in. The rest looks really impressive, though.

yeah they do look lovely, even if it's the wrong side.

Looking great! Can you give us a ballpark estimate of what this cost you? I’m looking to do the same on my R100RS

Cool! Will you show how you painted the rest of the engine?

Looking great!! I know you're into fabricating, but have you ever made a cafe-style front headlight fairing? I've always wanted to form one on the English wheel. Cheers!

never used an English Wheel and if they didn't cost so much I'd be tempted to get one.

Great job, is that satin finish? What's the ballpark cost for that haul?

How can you put freshly coated parts straight on a concrete floor 😳😳😳 how about a blanket, bubble wrap... something!!!

Was searching for that comment. If I had parts powder coated I would treat them like the money I just spent for that job. With care. Imagine hitting them with your foot..

Putting them not coated side down always. Also, it’s so durable I’m confident they never mark.
